- NES: Rivercity Ransom, Ninja Gaiden series, Megaman series, Final Fantasy.
- SNES: Area 88, Macross Scramble Valkyrie, Pocky & Rocky series, Final Fantasy series.

Let's see ...
Final Fantasy I - this game came out when I was 3 in Japan ...
Ogre Battle - just because it's named after a Queen song
M.U.L.E. - I liked the Commodore 64 version because the M.U.L.E.s looked like AT-ATs
Shining Force I & II - battle system one of the best to date
Phantasy Star IV - very, very long game, great characters, good graphics for its time, and all of Zio's lines fit a song from Jesus Christ Superstar
Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday - an old SSI RPG for the PC using what can best be described as a mutant 2e D&D system
Heroes of Might and Magic II - this is where I got addicted to the series
Mystical Ninja starring Goemon - stupid jokes abound on my N64 favourite
Dragon Warrior - monster design was cool
Streets of Rage 3 - the best of the series
Blades of Steel - the only NES hockey game I liked, plus digitized speech and a minigame between periods
RBI Baseball - to date, the only baseball game I liked
Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya - probably the best game on the Game Gear
Knuckles Chaotix - this was the reason I bought a 32x
Tempo - come on, a game about a dancing, singing grasshopper!
Earthworm Jim 2 - discontinued in Canada after a very short run of sales, I never did manage to purchase this classic
Sonic 3, locked on with Sonic and Knuckles - that made for a LONG game

 

Ah~ Shining Force... how nastalgic. It brings back all the memories from the good old days.

that game had so little plot it was not even funny but it was addicting as all Heck, i loved get my tail really long then getting

Just to clarify . . .

What systems do you usually think of when they think of "Old games"? When I hear "old," I think anything on Super Nintendo or before that.

I love Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu II), Chrono Trigger, and Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic Spinball, and Sonic & Knuckles. All of those games are very memorable to me.

 

Link, Chrisiliss (somthing like that), and Zelda! Commader Chaos and some forgotten mech game come next on the sega these were all good and i still play chrisiless and link.
