*He he* Funny story...I bought FFVII - Oh, about 1-2 years ago...played it...didn't like it and stuck it away.

NOW oh, so many years and hours later I gave it another try. And Oh, My God...what the H@&& was wrong w/ me? I Love This Game!!!

But back to my question...I'm going to beat it soon and would like to continue playing the FF series or like games. But I hear FFVIII is not very good and FFIV & FFX are only for PS2? (I don't have a PS2 and don't want one...just a 'puter)

So any suggestions? Are there any more FF games for the computer consel that are good?

I'm desperately not wanting FFVII to end...TIFA.!.!.

(P.S. Make sure there's a save point around if your still playing an hour before work or that you know where it is...because I lost it and wasn't about to just turn it off and start at my last save point...So my computer is sitting ON at home w/ FFVII loading waiting to my 8hr return.)

Lol. Nice job. Here is what I think, I think that FF8 is really good and FF9 is for the PlayStation 1. I really think you should continue on with the FFSeries. They're fun and great.

AFAIK, the only other FF after VII that made it into PCs is VIII. Tough luck. Well, VIII is good in its own way.

I suggest you get a PS2 if you *want* to keep playing FF though. Unless, they make a PC DVD-Rom of 'em as well. Because, the new FF games are DVD-ROMs...so, yeah.

Once you've exhausted the Final Fantasy series, go play Chrono Trigger and Tales of Phantasia. Terrific games.

Right...ff8 was really hated because of its diffrent system. Personally, i did not get it because of that i played (or saw) the demo of it and did not like it.

Then there is to ff9, it wasn't THAT good, but if you're an ff-fan, perhaps you should get it. But it's for ps only. Although, you could get a psx emulator, buy the game and play it on pc (lub that ^_^).

FFX...mmm, still playing it. It feels like a FFIX-2 for me, but it really impressed in the beginning. Should get that, too, i suppose, if you're going to get a ps2, because it's ps2 only.

FF Chrystal Chronicles is heading for GC, too, but i haven't played it.

In ff8 the way of playing is different. You get a salary, you draw ut magic, you gain guardian forces, and the story line is different, but yet it's up to the player of how they like it.

Okay do you want to hear the funny story first? You know that I left my game on when I went to work because I couldn't find a save point and didn't want to start over. Well anyway I go home and got on...continuing my journey to find a save point...and do you know what happened? You guessed it...I died. Here is what happened - My 3 characters, one w/ 35 hundred life and the other two w/ 34 hundred life, all fully healty, were ALL killed AT THE SAME TIME!!! By a stupid gargoyle who cast a L4Death on me. What a piece of SH%$! Talk about a waste of time! :-(

But back on topic...I'm currently downloading Final Fantasy VIII to give it a try. I really liked the battle scheme of VII...(If it's not broke don't change it?!)

Final Fantasy IX is for Ps1? I thought they were on the Ps2? I do have a Ps1...I just don't use it. And while I'm on the subject...wasn't Ps2 supposed to go down in price? It's always been $200.00 hasn't it? I'm cheap...I wonder if I buy Final Fantasy...they'll just GIVE me a Ps2? ...No?. One can dream can't he?!

Hmmm...Tales of Phantasia, I've never heard of it...just might have to go see what this is...

Heh, bad luck. Always keep your levels diffrent. Otherwise you'll get hit by LX spells. And when you see those enemies with levels which match the spells--run!

It's a shame, though, the ps2 is not getting down in price. You could always ask for it in birthday present or christmas (if you have it). Split the cost ^^

Umm, the battle scheme in FFVIII is somewhat changed. It's like you steal cards to use as magic. About the other stuff--I don't know. But that's about it, and the other is the same.
