Anime An Interesting Thought: Parody Fansubs!

Quite Simple, really. You take an anime series, and you DON'T translate it. Instead, you concentrate on ways to make the script as funny as you can, without changing the video or audio. Mess with the subtitles! Make them funnier, rewrite the story, change names, etc. Just go wild! Make an anime series into a totally new experience just by doing this! It doesn't even have to make sense!

Anyway, now that you have the background information, on to the real topic.

Is there an anime series you would like to see this done to?

Note: I am not offering to do this. This is just a suggestion.

 

I've seen it happen once, on the Live Action of Sailormoon (Pretty Guardian Sailormoon). When a character said something that was blatantly obvious, they made subtitles that pretty much mocked the whole concept of the series XD They only lasted until episode 3, though.

I really wouldn't have a preference as to what series I'd like it done to, as long as some "real" subtitles are already released.

 

Now there are some FMA parody subs. X_X;;;

I've only seen ONE parody sub that was actualy funny. It was a furuba one.

 

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien Parody. They added different scenes from different episodes into one episode and added another view on the love story, which was rather funny.

There's a hilariously funny Evangelion fan*dub* floating around called Evangelion:Redeath. If you can find it, it's definitely worth a download. Gendo as a pimp? Oh yes!
