Introducing the M2A Animanga Free For All! This tournament involves a weekly voting from members determining which characters proceed to the next level of competittion, and who is the ultimate character. Each week will feature a poll for the current matchup, and a main tournament board will be on display to show the standings. Matchups will be elimination style, starting with 32 characters, up until the final matchup, which should be quite a pairing, and will decide the number 1 character. Of course, it wouldn't do to just pick any 32 characters at random, which is the purpose of this starting thread. Have your input here as to who should be considered to enter the tournament for the title as "M2A's chosen best Anime/Manga Character for the 2004 year". The replies here will be tallied to decide who makes the cut, so make your voice heard! This is open to all members, as long as they follow these simple guidelines: Only reply here with your character nominations in a neat, organized list showing both the character's name, and the anime or manga they come from. Your nominations must be from an anime or manga. You may only make one reply here, so make it count. You are free to edit it later, but keep in mind that later changes may not affect the final tally. You may only list a maximum of 3 characters from any particular line of series. This includes direct spinoffs and all seasons or movies. This is to encourage variety, so we don't receive a full tournament of DBZ characters, for instance. If you list more than three characters from any one particular line, only the first three in your list will count towards nominations. The maximum number of total nominees you may list is 50.
