Anime Anime characters who are alike

Did one character from one anime ever remind you of a character from another anime? If so which anime characters do you think are very similar to each other?


ChiChi(DBZ) and Kaoru(Kenshin) are similar because they are both brave, stubborn, strong, loyal and they will always wait for the men they love.

Richard Moore(Detective Conan) and Mr Satan a.k.a. Hercule(DBZ) they both like to take credit for someone elses work.

 

Hey I remember a good one.

Goku from DragonBall, and Fly from Dragon Quest. Well, i think it's because they were designed by the same guy.

:'( NOT FAIR! Why did they take away Dragon Quest! Not fair, bwa.....

And it certainly had a better storyline than DBZ... oh well.

Luchs from Saber Marionette J and Sylia Stingray from Bubblegum Crisis 2032-2033

Both are excellent tacticians, calculating, intelligent and seemingly cold as ice, who keep their true feelings deep inside and never allow them to interfere with their duties.

Cannot think of anybody else for now.

 

ChiChi(DBZ) and Rachel(Detective Conan a.k.a. Case Closed) are very similar. The both know martial arts, have a quick temper, and both are somewhat harsh with the ones they love even though they mean well.

you will find almost the same characters with different names...
...Its still entertaining.

 

I've staerted watching a show called Girls Bravo, and on the first episode you really get a feeling that the main character (Yukinari) has quite a resemblence to Keitaro Urishima. Not as far as appearances, but more in the way that he is usually able to take quite a lot of punishment from different situations he gets himself into, and also walking into the girls locker room :sweat: (another Keitaro trait).
Thankfully he's not a total copy of Keitaro. It's a good anime, very funny.

 

Well Ryoga (Ranma) and Kouga (Inuyasha) are practically the same character (even though both were created by Takahashi it just seemed a bit much), and even look a little similar. Tohru (Fruits Basket) always struck me as similar to Kagome (Inuyasha), at least in terms of personality.

 

Kenshin (Ruruoni Kenshin) and Vash (Trigun). Their pacifist/no-killing nature is obvious.

Alex Rowe (Last Exile) and Amon Sena (Witch Hunter Robin)... other than their resemblence in looks and clothing, they are both cool-headed, quiet on the whole with that sense of cunningness.

Meg (Bakuretsu Tenshi) and Asuka (Evangelion), they have very similar in looks, both gingers and both whiney. Jo (BT) and Rei (NGE) also hold quite similar personalities and looks.

In a sense you can compare the entire Rahxephon and Evangelion cast as they have similar character roles in both series... BUT, comparing them is not the right way to look at them as they are both very different animes that should be esteemed individually. (Though Rahxephon is superior in every way in my view)

they are both hot headed and they run to fights.

2- Kaname Chidori (Full Metal Panic) AND Naru Narusegawa (Love Hena)
they both are strong ,short tempered and they alwayes hit the one they love.

 

Miaka Yuuki [Fushigi Yuugi] and Usagi Tsukino [Sailor Moon]. They're so alike, it's uncanny.

there is a character from the time period called the warring states, it was in china. the time was about 190 bc to ?. any way theres this guy name zheng he. hes kinda a ho mo sexual. he reminds me of a guy from feudal japan named ranmaru mori. there both pretty G_A_Y. to bad that had nothing to do with anime.

 

If this has anything to do with the Dynasty Warrior games, then you shoulds know that they took place somwhere between 190-220 AD (i think). Thats around when the real warring states period took place (i'm not sure though cause i really don't know much about chinese history).

 

yeah it was AD i totally forgot.i was talking about the book the three kingdoms. and i played samurai warriors and found out stuff about the other one. but i did play the dynasty warriors game a while ago. when it was a 1on1 fighting game. i just recently played DW 4 and i liked it better then the first.

 

Mutsumi from Love Hina and Hyatt from Excel Saga are almost exact... they both faint, are very sickly, and timid but at times bold/weird.

 

Motoko from Love Hina and Kikyo from Inuyasha share an eerie resemblance, from their traditional red-and-white robes to the practical way they choose to style their hair (although that may be non-negotiable in Kikyo's case, as barbershops weren't exactly commonplace in feudal Japan). Both are unrivaled wielders of their respective weapons (with the exception of Seta in Motoko's case), and both keep even their closest of friends at arm's length, seeing any form of emotional attatchment as a surefire method of exposing their weaknesses. In addition, they both (this is getting redundant...<_<) practically epitomize the word "distant", are held in very high esteem, constantly exercise self-discipline/restraint (though not where Keitaro is concerned...), and are reluctant to opening themselves up to love.

 

Mahoro from mahoromatic and tenma from schol rumble look alike. that and they the twitching hair spikes^^

 

Amidamaru (Shaman king) & Minamoto Yorihisa (Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ) they are both samurai, also very kind... and the artwork is alike ^_^

Mari aka Marion ( Shaman king; The blonde of Hao's team Hanagumi who carries around her demented Manta doll, Kirisaki Gun.)
