sigh, this would be a prefect mock up, if it weren't for one thing:
it's not copyright violation if it's done in parody. that's why satirical stuff can get away with it.

not in Japan! if you read most of the article, those things only apply to North America and its Lucas Japan thats suing them for Yoda and anime creators and Japanese power rangers creators as well!

 

Yes, truly disturbing material here. I too was shocked with what I was reading in the linked article. A few highlights with some excerpts follow...

They begin with this attempted block of the real issue at hand. The parties in question will not even publicly show a list of their entire claims, for fear it will cause further defamation.

This later phrase depicts the action they desire to be taken. By "adjusting browser settings" a completely new edition of Excel Saga would be created - which removes some of the famous icons that make appearances.

Translation: A full press release will make an appearance at a later date. Keep checking the site for up to date information.

Microsoft, one of the leading party members, pulls no surprises at their request compensation. If the suit is successful, expect the American Corporation to become connected to Japan's animation industry. I think we all see where this is going...the true and unique animation we have come to love will become a marketing strategy, deteriorating into mainstay, regular, boring series that "sell".

This is the most forceful part of the whole documentation. They threaten to further take action against any Excel Saga supporters and suggest a comparable security measure if you plan to take on their multi-million-dollar lawyers... Meaning fans have little say.

This final cryptic sentence was what concluded the document. I'm still unsure as to what they're saying here...

 

umm..yeah, only then that means no satire can exist in japan...and i know that isn't true...
but, i'm not gonna even argue this. if you want your little "rant" to go on, go for it...sigh...there's no arguing with stupid things like this...
dual, tenchi, lum, ranma, lupin, all those parady other shows...jeez...all have or have been satired...

I thought to sticky this to share. At the time, it was a joke, and I already expressed my deepest sympathies with those concerned, a bit. So if you all read it now and get all worked up.. well. haha. Now you know it's not true, so don't go out on a strike and get beaten up or anything.
