Anime Anime downloads?

Does anyone know how to get good, and fast downloaded anime episodes on a FREE p2p site (like WinMX).

 

Look for 'bit-torrent'.

Sometimes its wonderfully fast, sometimes its damn slow, but its a great way to get anime thats new and rare.

 

I try it but the thing was very confusing I could not even open the program. Maybe it's just my computer?

Any thing else out there?

 

I'm a fan of Direct Connect myself (www.neo-modus.com), but it's often hit or miss as to whether or not you'll find the episodes you want. You also can't be guaranteed a decent download speed all the time, but sometimes you'll get things that download at almost insanely fast speeds. You just have to find the right hubs and users.

Another option that some of my roommates like is using ftp servers to download (and in some cases upload) anime. The only problem being that you actually have to get access into a server and then you're more or less at the mercy of whoever runs it as to what you'll have access to.

Yet another option would be finding someone who is willing to trade or sell fansubbed episodes with you. I know at least one person who does this, and where there's one there are bound to be more.

Of course, as with everything else, I highly advocate buying a series you know you like if it's available where you live. Yes, it's expensive, but it's more legal than just downloading episodes wholesale. However, I also advocate sampling because if you are going to go and buy something you want to make sure it's something you know you'll like, ne?

eMule all the way. Slightly more techy can Kazaa etc., but well worth it.

 

If you have a separate line for Internet (cable or not), the savage way of downloading is by using Kazaa Lite, selecting several dozen anime titles you want, and leaving your computer running 24/7. So even though it's kinda slow, you'll get your anime eventually. I personally know someone who has downloaded literally every anime series that was popular during the past few years in a matter of a few months this way.

I myself have finally (after roughly a whole year I think) finished my 26 episode collection of Sister Princess. (only a few people on Kazaa have any of the episodes). It's my second most favorite series, and I'm surprised that almost no one I know has even heard of it. Of course, it probably hasn't even been released in the US yet, but that's the thing about downloading that I like: we get to watch series that aren't "supposed to be" around yet in DVD form. It's roughly kinda like the superior zest you feel when you enter a concert an hour before general admission.

 

Don't get me wrong just cuz I said it's my second most favorite series. There's a personal reason why I like it so much. I don't know how other people would react to it. I actually haven't finished watching it yet, since I like to savor good things.

i use kazaa, since direct connect wont work 4 me. ive also used winmx, but i dont like it 2 much.
