    Yup , love 'em , pretty much counts for about 90% of my anime collection.
    Free anime , and legal before it comes out in europe ( if it ever comes out in europe ) in mostly relatively decent quality subtitles.

    Hell at this stage , its come to a point where stuff airs in japan and is subbed in 2 days and goes up on the net. Elite fansubs are really pushing for free downloadable fansubs, they subbed the entire Vandread series as it was being aired in japan week by week, as well as doing the same with a couple of other series and even re-subbing some old series like gundam X.

    Unfortunetly , its getting harder and harder to get the stuff as few ppl use servers , when they do they're quickly packed and free-drive and myspace are both slow and quota'ed to hell and back.

    Theres my 2 cents anyway

    IMO CuteMX is probably the handiest place to get fansubs, most of the web sites or myspace mirrors are a pain to download from.

    I'm still fond of Ye Olde VHS Swapping Systeme, but digital fansubs are cool. Currently enjoying my set of Gatekeepers episodes - this series rocks [​IMG]

    Actually it's not legal, it's just that nobody is really in a position to sue over it. It's still covered by international copyright treaties. But hey, who's keeping count [​IMG]

    I've just started to get into anime,
    Have a few vid's/dvd's
    just stuff from forbidden planet.

    any1 in thr know could yaz mabye post up some urls to good anime sites, esp 1's with Downloads and a vid/dvd stores on them?

    got Ghost In The Shell there on saturday, Artwork in it was unreal

    oh yes,
    anipike is the place, but try mIRC sometime, I've been in various channels there for a year now <brag>(off and on and off and on again) and I'm totalling in the neighborhood of 40+GB of fansubbed anime on my HD (then there's my steadily growing anime DVD collection. </brag>
    it gives a good look at what should come to america soon (we all hope) like Love Hina, FLCL and SMJ.. oh wait, that's coming on DVD! (WHEE!!!)
    I'm just waiting to see SMJ-X subbed past ep 10 now...

    Fansubs.. whats not to like? Then there are fandubs hehe.
    SMJ to X.. aaargh, sub it already! [edit]haha that was a nasty typo!! Sub, not Dub[/edit]

    Anipike does have everything, cept I couldn't find this site?? Is it there somewhere?

    hey, SMJ to X is subbed episodes 1 - 10 by
    NoAnime subtitlers, I think they take a while to sub or something...

    Maybe I should fandub it myself(every voice!!)...but I don't think people would like to hear my voice as Lime and I wouldn't want to do the voice acting of Hanagata!

    I am searching through this vast world of anime 'till I find the rest of SMJ..too bad my direction sense is as bad as Ryoga's

    ...hum...I allways seem to be bored...maybe I should go out more...or do somthin with those odd lookin bottles over there....
    anyway just wanna say the best fansub team name ever ------> slow as hell fansubs ^_^

    Slow as Hell subtitlers rules!!!, they subbed Lost Universe(one of my favourite anime's)
