This is how the school works:

This is how our wonderful Academy works. This is rather short compared to the amount of detail I can go into. Listen good and I won’t turn you into a potato.

Basic
The school decided to start a new system this year, starting in grade 10, all the students would be put into one class. Why? For starters there has been a great downfall in high school teachers, and second there aren't that many students to begin with. For some reason, last year, a lot of the grade 9 students died. So all our characters will be in one class. This is to cause less confusion.

Grades through the Academy
This works fairly simply. The first school is the pre-school, which then goes up into the elementary school, from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Then the Jr High School, from Grade 7 to Grade 9. Finally the High School, which is grades 10 to 12. There’s also a college. In case you didn't know, our Academy works a lot like japanese schools. Japanese High School is 3 years and starts at Grade 10. You stay in the same class until you graduate. The same thing goes for elementary schools, you are in the same class up until you reach High School. You also get the same home room teacher that whole time.

How Students proceed through classes
Another thing that our academy has in common with Japanese schools is how the students progress through the day. Unlike American and Canadian students do, Japanese students do not move from class to class, rather they stay in the same class and the teachers come to them. During the time for the teacher to come students are allowed to talk to their friends, go for a washroom break, maybe get a drink of water, etc.

Subjects
You will be taught 6 subjects, Gym, Language Arts, Math, History, Sciences and English. There is 5 teachers. You will be required to interact with the teacher at many, many times as they too are anime chararcters, with the exception of the homeroom teacher.

Student Life
Students in the high school all live in Dormitories. You will all be assigned to a dorm, by DeathSociety and I. You are NOT allowed to choose who your roommate is. This is to make sure character interaction is made, and the over all funny situations that may occur. Students after school like going to the town and doing most of what they wish.

Academy Teachers



Okayasu Yuka is the most hated teacher in the academy and is also the vice principal. She teaches Sciences and English. She intimidates many students but is still hated. Why? Because Okayasu-sensei is rather cruel and mean to her students. She has been known to select a teacher’s pet every now and then but it is fairly rare, usually she wants something from the student. She's got a meter stick in hand at all times and will hit students with it. She also doesn't think twice about detention.

Kinomoto Nadeshiko is the beautiful and gentle Anime High School's Language Arts teacher. She is a mother of two young children and was once a model. Kinomoto-sensei teaches all her students equally and fairly and looks over them and belives in them and treats them like her own children. She even teaches some girls modeling lessons after school. She doesn't eat very healthy which causes many of the students that adore her to worry… Kinomoto-sensei's husband is a professor in the University part of the Academy.

Sakurada Haruna is the Anime High School's supportive and cheerful maths class teacher! Sakurada-sensei is easily annoyed by the mispronounciation of her name. Several times her name is mistaken for "Sakurada Haruda" which means "It's cherry blossoms, it's spring." At times like those, Sakurada-sensei throws a little fit. ^^ All in all, Sakurada Haruna is a kind teacher.

Ohtori Kanae is the Anime High School's new History Teacher! She just started teaching this year and just got out of high school herself, she doesn't tend to give that much homework. Her father was chairman of Ohtori Academy and her new husband Ohtori Akio is the new chairman. Ohtori-sensei was requested to teach at the Academy and took the offer. She is very fair but unlike Kinomoto-sensei in so many ways, maybe it's because Ohtori-sensei is younger and less experienced.

Prince Vegeta is the Anime High School's arrogant and mean Gym Teacher. He is not exactly hated, the students think he's cool but don’t like him. Vegeta-sensei drives all his students to their fullest extent. He will not allow laziness! He is like a slave driver. He calls all the students brats (Brat 1, Brat 2, Brat 3) and doesn’t really pay attention to them.

Other Staff




Meiou Setsuna is the Anime High School's kind and experienced Nurse. She is liked by all the students for her skill in healing wounds and ability to remain calm no matter what. However, Setsuna somehow has the ability to detect when students are faking to be sick, which displeases many students.

Buruma Briefs is the short tempered secretary of the Anime High School. Buruma starts off as spoiled and selfish, seemingly caring for only herself. Buruma's greed and childish ways diminish as she grows older. She begins to care about others just as much as she does for herself, but still bosses people around. She's a realist, and very extroverted. She doesn't waste her time coming up with ideas that are too wildly pessimistic nor does she see the silver lining on every cloud. She's actually very level-headed, but has a temper problem that causes her to go on rages.

Urashima Keitaro is the perverted Janitor of the Anime High School. He sneaks to the girl's dorms often but the Principal keeps him as Janitor because nobody else wants the dirty job. Keitaro's hobbies include drawing sketches and collecting photo stickers, although he's usually alone in those pictures and wishes to have a girlfriend. He is also a prolific daydreamer who occationally lands in very awkward situations because of his fantasies.

All right, real questions:

What after school activities will be on which days?
Where (as in continent or country) is the Academy located?

 

Save that for the weekend girl! No booze allowed on the premises, but what you do when not at school is your own decision.

Kinomoto-sensei holds a modeling class after school on Monday. Sicne so many girls entered it, they decided to make it an option class.
Tuesday there is an Art/Music class. Both classes were put together. Who's the teacher? That's gonna remain unknown for now.
Wednesday there is a fencing class. The teacher will also for now remain unknown.
Thursday there's a computer class taught by Okayasu-sensei. Not many students enter due to the fact nobody really likes her.
Friday there's a Drama class taught by Ohtori-sensei.
On Saturday at 12:00 pm after lunch, there's an Home Economics class. The three good female teachers of the school, Sakurada-sensei, Ohtori-sensei and Kinomoto-sensei teach it.

That's extra options now activities are different. There's a basketball team that has pratice on monday and Wednesday, after 3:00 of course. a soccer team that has practice on Tuesday and Thursday (also after 3:00) and a track team that has practice on Saturday and Sunday at different times. Vegeta-sensei also has a Fight Club that gets together on Friday after 3:00.

I know this is probably a dumb question, but what sort of detentions is there. All sorts, or lunch, or after school? I'm asking this because it's lunch at my school (not that I'm in High School or anything yet)

 

After school, at a time the teacher that gave the detention requests. The teacher will give you your punishment. They're like the detentions in Harry Potter if you're confused.

How is a class going to go? Is there going to be interaction between the students and the teacher in each class?
Are we actually going to have to do homework? And if so when does it need to be turned in?
Any tests?
Are the dorms seperate from the school? Or can there be a tunnel walkway?
Is there going to be a class president that everyone can vote on?
Is there going to be student congress?
Is there going to be any chance of being other clubs exp foreign language?
Can students make their own clubs?
Is there going to be any interaction between the upper classes with any of us? And if so how is that going to be done?
Is there a library and a computer room? And if so were is it?
Can there be a lounge for students to study and interact with the oppisite sex? If so where in the dorm building?
Do students need to do their own laundry? If so where is it located.
What are the rules for sweets or pop allowed in dorms but not in class? If so where is the nearest pop machine?
Can some students be allowed cars? Or bikes?
Is there going to be meals available at all times except after curfew in the cafeteria? Or do the kids need to go off campus for them?
Is there going to be any vacation from school?
Is there going to be certain times to make phone calls or get your mail?
Can the mail be searched and taken away?
Are students allowed to leave the campus on school nights? I know in some private schools you cant.
What floor are the girls and boys dorms on considering they are in the same building?
What are the times when music has to be turned down? Or is music not allowed at all?
Is there also going to be head boys/girls or prefects like in Harry Potter? Or let it be known who is the top of the class?
Can the janitor give you detention?
Are weapons allowed? Some characters need them exp Inu Yasha tet to hold back his demon blood. Of course the students cant go on a killing spree.
Can students wear hats in school?
What day does school start?
Is winter and summer all going to be the exact oppisite from the US considering it is set in japan?
Is there going to be any rainy days and are you going to let us know when they are? So I can pack my characters an umbrella.
How many times can your character be late before they get detention?
Can there be like class trips to places? This is kinda junior highish but it would be fun.
What are the school rules is it just normal school rules? There is some I have seen but it does not apply to everything. I think that it should be but with some exceptions.

Thats all I am going to post for now. I have way more questions but right now I just want to get a FEEL of how the school is going to go and whatnot.

Yes there will be interaction between the students and the teacher. Mostly on the first day of school.

Some teachers give homework, some don't. It all depends on which teacher. However, if you do get homework, the teacher assigning the homework will mention the date when it needs to be turned in.

The dorms are connected to the school. The boys' dormitory is at one end of the school and the girls' is at the other end.

No, there will be a Student Council however. Only 12th graders are allowed to compete to get a place of power in the Council. The fencing teacher and the Arts/Music teacher are both members of the Student Council. Your character cannot be a 12th grader for the simple reason we don't want characters to compete to be in there.

Not exactly, you can move them around like NPCs [None Playable Characters]. However, if you joined the option "Fencing" or "Art/Music", you will have to interact with the teachers which are 12th graders therefore upper classes.

The Library is in the College end of the school, which is approximately a block away. The Computer Room is on the same floor as the Principal and Vice Principal's offices, which is the top floor.

First of all, there is no Dormitory Building. The Lounge is in the basement, and open only to grades 11 and up. The 10th graders study in the Study Hall.

You have to put your laundry down a laundry shute which is conveniently located in each of the dormitories. What will happen? Either the Home Economics Class will wash it as homework, some unlucky kid may be sent to wash them for detention, which is Kinomoto-sensei's detentions, or some people in this town will volunteer to wash it.

Sweets, pop and the likes are allowed in the dormitories. There are Pop Machines all over the school.

No. The Town is too small.

Yes there is going to be meals available at all times. No, students will not need to go off campus for them. However, some students prefer to get meals from Fast Food Places, that is of course your decision.

Yes, there is going to be vacation from school. Summer, which is from July to August. There are other vacations which you will find out later. The teachers will most likely announce them in time.

Phones and Computers are allowed in Dormitories. There is no rule against Cell Phones. You may also go to the Computer Lab during lunch. The person in charge of the Dormitories will give you your mail in the morning.

If the School Staff have suspicions of you holding illegal objects or any form of illegal things, your mail shall and will be searched and taken away if need be.

No, students cannot leave the dormitory at night. The punishment for doing so will be severe.

Music is allowed, seeing some students sleep better with it. However, the sound has to be low enough not to disturb the other students in the dormitory. Also, You need your roommate's authorization to play music, if it does disturb your roommate you are not allowed to play music.

No, Favoritism and Competition are the two things we are trying to avoid.

It snows around December in Japan as well. In Winter is only snows for one day then it all melts. Summer is the same as the Summer in US.

As far as the laundry goes do the characters need to have there name on all there clothes? Or just sent out in duffal bags with the name on it?
Do the teachers come to the students or do the students go to the teachers?

What is the room number(s) for the classes?
Is there a shower/bathroom in the dorms or is there just one for each sex to use?
Is the college people same interaction between the upper classes?
Is there a lake in this town?

Any forests or wooded area?
Is there any lockers in the school? If so what floor are they on?
Did all the students come from somewhere else except the ones that know each other? Or were they in ninth grade together?

Can there be a hang out? Like WcDonalds or something?

How does the grades go? Number scale, letters, or happy faces?
Is lunch actually in a cafeteria or the dorms?

I have a few questions...not as many as Basher though...

Are animals allowed in the dorms, lets say a hamster?
If animals aren't allowed, what would be the likely hood of being able to sneak one into the dorm? A hamster is small, doesn't make alot of noise and wouldn't be noticed by anyone, except for maybe the room mate, but she won't tell!
Is there a school newspaper that the students can help out with?
Is there a pool or water any where around, either at school or in town?
Is there a swim team?

1st Floor: Welcoming Floor, just an introduction to the school you could say.

Sneaking in something like a hamster is very easy. Most of the teachers except Okayasu, don't mind something like a hamster and let it pass if they catch you. However soemthing like a cat wouldn't be so easy.

There probably will be. The Arts/Music Teacher could teach Swimming easily. There may also be a fencing team.

 

I knew this was gonna come up but I didn't want to seem like such a Control Freak. Our players are gonna be like this:
"Great we have a Control Freak and a Perfectionist as GMs"

But to answer your questions....

I was actually gonna set up a curfew but I was afraid some people wouldn't like that. If you must know, I was thinking around 10:00 PM for the curfew.

Yes, no sneaking out of dorms, no playing loud muic at night, no sneaking over to other students's dorms, as in going over to the room next to you in the middle of night when you should be in bed. And if your lights are on too long one of the supervisors will tell you it's lights out and if you don't obey you get detention.

Not really, the thought never came to mind. It may be a teacher, but if it is a student, someone in the last year from the student council.

School days are Monday to Friday, You get the weekends off.

Actually, your characters can make their own hangout. We may discuss it later, it will probably be like a teen center where people can play pool and such.

Gym - 10:00 am to 10:30 am
Break - 10:30 am to 10: 40 am
L.A. - 10:40 am to 11: 40 am
Lunch - 11: 40 am to 12: 20 pm
Math - 12:20 pm to 1:20 pm

History - 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm

What becomes of the last half an hour? Some students may want to join clubs, or the option classes. Option classes happen after history and a different one every day. They don't count towards your grade, however.

There may be. When DS and I decide if there should, we will make the sitting arrangement.

Stars. A number level of stars for which grade you're in

You get lunch in the cafetria but you can eat anywhere on the school grounds. Many prefer in the cafeteria however.

Dorms works similiar to ones in college, you're allowed to decorate your rooms any way you want, but you and your roommate still have both your beds in the same room.

We're still deciding if we should get a uniform. I think it's a good idea, but can you picture Naruto in a uniform?
