So, to confirm, as yet, we have wing_goddess, Kanna's Mirror, yamiyo (whoever that is... ) and myself going so far. (Surrounded by women... sweet. :p) And Neph wanting to go, but undecided.

I would definately like to meet anyone who comes, so we'd better get a meeting set up. :p

Also, Neph, would you be able to send me a map showing how to get to you from... say, Square One? I know a few landmarks in the GTA, but I'm mostly lost there without a map. Might be interesting...

EDIT: Also, I took a look around, and found this. wing_goddess, you told me you'd pre-registered, perhaps the sneak peek would work? Anyone else able to make it for this? Would make a lot of things easier, I think.

ooookay, that's good. We should plan a meeting date soon if we're going to do so. Heh, but i know you're already gone on your trip, so i don't know if you'll see this before AN. Remember to say hi to Neph for me when you see him ^_^ and i still hope for Neph to come =\ And also i'll meet you on Friday at the Meet and Greet or Sat at the Naruto photoshoot ^^ anyone else can come if they like.

Sorries, that's on Thursday night and i can't make it up to Toronto by then because then i'd have to come back and escort my friends =__= I is the only person who knows the directions. =( Unless you want to pay for my extra trips there and back ;)

Yes, I'm reading it. :p I'm not as internet deproved as I thought I'd be. :p

I'll be sure to say hi to Neph for you, anyway. As for those of you who are coming and not going to the meet and greet, do you remember, last year, how they had a little area with tables and chairs in front of the stage? Let's try to meet up there after the meet and greet. Hopefully we'll be able to get in before things get too crowded.

Oh well. Perhaps there'll be others there? Remember, I'll be wearing a black leather jacket with an eagle on the back. Look for me. Either way, I'm sure to stand out with something like that on, so anyone who misses me there should be able to find me pretty easily.

    Also:

I beg to differ. There are several Japanese guests. Just look for yourself.

i would love to... but... after the meet and greet is the super mega line up for the dealers room!!! I HAVE to line up early!!! That line gets WAY to long and i'll kick myself if i end up being near the end >< and besides, i dunno if it'll be set up the same way as last year :( there could be a possibility it's not there.

Did you all like how the line was set up last year? If you wanted to check out the artist's area, you had to wait in the dealer's room line! I thought it was pretty stupid, I know they were selling a few things there, but it was a separate room. I won a few auctions for artworks there. I was always dissapointed when I went into the dealer's room anyways.. there's a few neat things but I never found what I was initially looking for.(and this was me going early friday too) I almost got arrested for having a 'weapon' I didn't think about it but the chain was metal.. and hopefully this year for you guys who are going they have more food variety than just hotdogs and such.

Yea, i didn't like that at all. Also, when you went into the Artist's alley, and if you wanted to go back to the dealer's room, they wouldn't let you and make you go all the way around and back to the beginning again! I hope things turn out better this year with that.

i thought it was great ^_^ but i live in a small town, so seeing so much anime in one area blows me away. Indeed.

O_O;; ack, no good. That must have sucked. Wasn't it only starting from last year did they get REALLY strict with their weapons policy? i'm making a 5 ft sword, and i'm sportin a big fan this year. I hope they'll let me have it there, or it'll be such a waste of time it took me to make them just for nothing.

I remember it like it was yesterday. I didn't like the way the thing was set up, but I did manage to be 3rd in line, so no complaints there. ^_^

They wouldn't let us line up until 4, so we stood as close to the entrance as we were allowed from 3:30 on, until they lert us, and then it was a mere hour-long wait for them to open the dealer's room. :p

I'm hoping the set-up is better this year, but I won't count on it.

As far as food goes, I'd either pack my own lunch (Safeway was sold out of chopsticks... :(), buy something from a nearby restaurant, or do without food. What can I say? I'm not willing to pay through my nose for something as useless as the food they were selling. Maybe they'll have better choices this year, but I guarantee they'll be waaaay overpriced.

I'll be updating you all on con status through my journal. Just so you all know, and don't miss it.

And, I apologize for the double post. I wanted to be sure that nobody missed what I had to say, so it was (as I would consider it) necessary.

Anime North was AMAZING! soooo good ^_^ the Naruto photoshoot lasted 45 min on Saturday O_O; but lots yaoi goodness. I'm glad the Dealer's room and art room were a lot larger in space. So much fun. So many nummy people... like Hot naruto's in their underwear with a leaf on it... or trying to seduce Scott McNeil or the hot camera man... which he actually came to.. o_o;; well, i best end it here before i continue on or i won't be able to stop.

AN was good ^^ not all the panels were though. the elevators in the hotel... geez, if it says 16 ppl limit in the elevator and 10 ppl for AN people for cosplay reasons, why cram 22 and brake the elevators?@?@ walking up the stairs was hell =__= and the lock downs too.

I only know of the one that resulted in me commisioning those SMJ pics. I can't really complain about it since it had such a positive effect. ^_^

I don't really know the details, though. Perhaps some "normals" made a bomb threat? :p (Normals being people who aren't into anime)

I heard that it was somebody that stole something... i didn't hear about the bomb threat. Also, on Sunday at the doubletree hotel, there was a lockdown between 6-7pm. A kid went missing. I was *just* leaving and was told to sit down and wait for the lockdown to be over. The one in the dealer's room was annoying though. the crowd got large at the exit and it was for quite a long time :S

Hmm... I got out right away during the Dealer's Room lockdown. There weren't many people at the exit then.

Was there a blackout at all? The Con Blackout is supposed to be a legendary event or something. :p If there was it would have to have been late at night or I would've known.

It depends, was there a really horribly scary first performance this year for the masquerade? If there wasn't, then no need for a blackout.

Nope, didn't hear of any blackouts this year. They had sound
    problems, that i know. When they were showing the masq on TV, the sound was cut off and it took a LONG time for someone to report it =__=;
