OGM is a wonderful new addition to the digital fansubbing world, called OggMedia. It allows seperate streams. What this means, is you can toggle audio tracks or subtitles between languages on your digital media, reminiscent of DVDs... ^^

Of course, it means you need a few extra things on your computer to run them. That site conveniently gave you a downloads page with everything you need (yay!).

First, I'm assuming you have DivX already installed. If not, you are already way behind the times! Go grab it at www.divx.com

Now then, grab the Ogg Core and run that install on your system. This is the codec for the Ogg Audio format.

To get the subtitles going, get the nifty VobSub and install it. As an aside, this is an excellent tool for use with VirtualDub and encoding subtitles once you have a timed file. The anime ep I subbed with it worked beautifully.

    Got all that done? Great.

Open your ogm file with Media Player. You should see a wonderful green film-like icon drop into your desktop. Right click it and you'll get a whole score of options to choose from. Pick your desired audio and subtitle preferences from the choices and hit play.

And that's all there is to it. Any questions?
