I am making a list of a bunch of anime to buy considering adult swim is getting old and i'm tired of watching the same anime. :anger2: So, do any of you know of an anime right off the top of your head that is good. As long as its not Mecha. :anger2: I would be grateful for your help. If this thread is against the rules or whatever PM me and I will delete it.

Definately Air is a series you need to watch. It's very emotion heavy, with almost all of the conflict being internal, and a very good series. Here, let me dig up a synopsis for you really quick:

Traveling only with a puppet and the story told to him by his mother about a girl with wings, Kunisaki Yukito arrives in a small oceanside town. By the end of his first day, he has met many strange residents including the cheery and odd young girl, Kamio Misuzu. Her constant talking and dreaming of flying throughout the skies make Yukito wonder if she is indeed the fabled winged girl his mother spent all of her life trying to find.

EDIT: And a link to a site with, well, information, but it's in Japanese. You can check out the look of the series, though.

Thanks for all the recommendations. Most of the anime mentioned I have completely seen. But...Trinity Blood, Naruto, Air, Guyver, Gantz, Scrapped Princess, and Bleach are new to me. Thank you for you help, if you can think of anymore you enjoy please tell. Also, I like action/adventure anime. :D Should this thread continue to recieve posts of anime recommendations I will make a list of anime seen so hopefully no one posts those. :bleed2: My poor wallet. hahaha.

Air and Bleach are not licensed yet so you won't see those over the counter but there are other ways. :D Trinity blood a few months and naruto also. But Naruto is on CN. I don't know about the rest though.

Gantz was licensed before it finished airing. Scrapped Princess was out like 1 year ago so you'll find that as DVDs.

Out of the lot you havn't seen Bleach and Trinity Blood are two animes you must watch... Naruto is good but it's 140+ episodes... so be prepared.

As for Air, it was only released this year, and isn't licensed. In fact, the movie came out not 2 days ago on Animesuki. :bleed2:

If you've got BitTorrent, it's as simple as finding a torrent, which is readily available on so many sites I won't bother to link one. :p

And I'll continue the topic of the thread by suggesting Bakuretsu Hunters. I've only seen a bit of it, myself, but I can tell it's an awesome series.

    Link for info:

Just make sure you've eaten recently when you watch it, because the characters' names WILL make you hungry. :p

Mahou Sensei Negima (by Ken Akamatsu, creator of Love Hina) was released earlier this year if I'm correct (or maybe end of 2004 i think). And I belive that the last episode was just released.

A story about a young wizard that is assinged to go teach in a Japanese school, in an all girls class.

It's really a funny, and cool Anime, plus the story line and humour is really good!

If you haven't seen Fushigi Yuugi yet you should.
    Same with Revolutionary Girl Utena.
And Nadia: the Secret of Blue water. The end is worth it.
And i guess you can watch the Angel Sanctuary OAV, but it'd be better to read the manga. (the OAV only cover volumes 1-3 and half of 4. And there's liek aprox. 20 volumes or so...apparently, I'm not sure... XD)

And if you like cute stuff...three words: Tokyo Mew Mew. >_> If you're fine with downloading torrents you should be able to get it...just don't watch the dub. It was the latest thing to get butchered by 4Kids and butchered it they did. Oo Stay away from the dub...

And yet they didn't give us A La Mode...Nooo!

Anyways, you also wanna watch Case Closed (Detective Conan). Story about a smart young detective named Jimmy Kudo, that ends up in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Literally, you'd think that when he's a kid he'd get traumatized....*shudder*

There would be so many, but at least I remember a few good ones. I'd say Ai Yori Aoshi, Bleach, Rozen Maiden, Maburaho, Futakoi Alternative, Mahoromatic, Kareshi Kanojyo no Jijyo and I've heard Kannaduki no Miko was alright too.
