Anime AnimeExpo2002

    i just wanted to know if anyone else is going to it? it'll be held in long beach, california. from july 4th to 7th.. its going to be great.. and i havent met a damn person yet who's going, other than myself.. for more info: www.anime-expo.org

    i'd love to go to an anime festival of some sort, but i doubt there are any in ireland :(

    there isnt one at all?? thats terrible.. this is my first. its in like a week too, so ive gotta get all my money together that i can, so i can blow it all in the forst day, and take lots of pictures.. im going to be there all four days too.. i wont know what to do with myself.. hehe.. but i wish i knew other people that were going..

    wow...the japanese va for naga!!! and dear god...puffy ayumi...eep..scary band...wow..and digital painting with liquid! graphics(they do some comic book coloring that is damn good), and you get tosee the bebop movie, it's real good. and take care to note how fluid ed seems to be when she's hacking...and trick or treating..lol you will enjoy it...very good, ...neat...i kinda wanna go just for the anime club panel...but i live 3 days away...<sigh>

    I was going to go, since I live really close to there (about 2 hours by a car), but a sailing trip with my friend was postponed so I can't go any more. :( But I get to go sailing with a friend I haven't met since 2nd grade!!!:p (And I'm really glad that I didn't prepay for the AnimeExpo yet.)

    I'll probably go to the anime expo in new york,
    but most probably the one held in boston in 2003

    I wish that we have one too here .. but even the word anime is not known here .. :sweat2: !!

    Its better for me not going to any anime festival, cuz I will be cleaning the whole place and make them rich .. :D !!!

    I too am envious. I couldn't even get any anime in town the other day when I went in. Bastard country. Well, I hope you enjoy yourself anyway. I'll just be sitting here... On my own... In a darkened room... With no anime to watch...

    why me?

    well.. 2 days before the expo, things fell apart and i decided it would be in the best interest of my whole world not the go.. then at the last minute, everything put itself back together, and *poof* im still screwed outta my summer's biggest event.. now my employed friends are working all day and the unemployed ones are out of town.. long beach is sooo close.. and im here.. alone.. wallowing.. poor me.. oh well. next year will be more organized on my part. anime*expo2003 er bust..

    That sucks. At least you got next year to look forward to though. As apposed to me. With nothing. a great obstacle. Maybe you should get a job too if your bored, save up for next year...

    i know.. im lucky that i can brush off the let down and look toward next year. and as for the job thing.. grrr.. thats a whole other thing, ive been trying to get one for three months now.. i might just go get a job at disneyland, thayll hire just about anyone.. but thats a last resort, til then im i guess what youd call a starving artist.. unfortunately.. i wish i was at the expo right now..
