Yep, I actually had time to draw something new. I call this "The Guardian". The medium is colored pencil on paper (oh yes, I'm so sophisticated :p ). Comments, questions, etc. are welcome!

its too small, next time upload a larger version.

Use more color tones to define volume, depth and detail. Try different papers to see what fits you best, for example, is easier to draw in texturized paper, to ink steal some paper from you printer XD.

    keep on it :)

Ah yes, 'tis a bit small. Here, I've got it elsewhere now. This is fairly close to the full size. And yeah, I'm poor, I can only afford the 12-color box. :shy3: Thanks for the tips, though!

I remember my first set of color pencils that I bought for fun... they were only 12 or so, but only half as long as regular pencils. (Touchingly ironic though, was that my older brother relied on them for his huge posters!)

You can actually crank out great works with a few colors, just by learning to layer them over each other to create new colors. I like how you tried a lil gradation effect for the light coming out from under the door, and I liked how you varied the sizes and colors of the bricks in the wall.
