    What are your favorite moments in Saber Marionette J, J Again and J to X (and R too I guess)? And what's your favorite all time episode?

    I'll tell you mine when i'm more awake...

    I've got tons, ummm... well, okay, rather than wake *myself* up, I'll just ramble off stuff I can recall:

    -"Cherry Panic", "Easy Money", "Otaru Cup" were my fave funny eps...

    -I really enjoyed the end of J from when saber beast Leopard appeared up until the end of the Mesopotamia...

    BakaMattSu, more as they develop in that thick baka skull o' mine...

    I still have fond memories of episode one, and how it changed my life forever..aaahhh those were the days...

    okay, corny mode off, but episode one was just classic for me, Lime waking up, Lime getting powered up.. a building falling.. err, her picking up the piece of building and throwing it at Hanagata in his car... me thinks thats what happened...

    the Marionette contest was just plain awesome too with the cook-off and the presentations when Panter couldn't say anything to give some allure (I saw Otaru's face...)..than she thought she had to continue posing and doing nothing for the cook-off...lol..she probably should have.

    I loved Bloodberry's Uh... "trial of the banannas' from "Otaru Marionette Cup". Samuel Beckett would have been proud of that rather ... strange entry.

    And the scene where Hanagata gets angry because Otaru and co. forgot to wake him for the barbecue is funny too. *loved how he rolled around on the ground for ten minutes*

    I recall one tiny little bit of an episode in which Hanagata suddenly popped out of a garbage bin or a picnic basket or something. That's my all-time favourite moment.

    My all time favourite moment, and I believe it's either in ep 2 or 3 is when Lime dropped the national "lumpy pot" treasure. Then the chase after Otaru, Lime and Hangata commenced!!

    The "lumpy" scene was great ^^.

    Oh yeah, and then there was the one where Hanagata lost his crystal ball and got really drunk. And then when he got it back he did this weird little scream that just curdled one's blood.

    in JtoX - call me sick - my favorite moment had to do with the appearance of the 'special item'

    In J, ep 1, the end as Otaru carries Lime home was great.

    In R, the opening credits were rad. the build up to that marionette stting up was pretty cool. Great intro.

    J again.. lemme think. don't remember it too much. Maybe Lime getting mad that they rejected her name for Marine, the whole thing with her naming creativity, like with the squirrel [​IMG]

    the 'special item' is mentioned in ep 1, but doesn't appear until ep. two

    [sorta quote]Hanagata - "I can use this to make my special item"[/sorta quote] Man I hope there aren't different versions with that translated some other way: I love calling it the special item [​IMG]

    You know you want to know hehe. Best answer I can give is to tell you to watch the first two eps. It's not like that's a great punishment or anything, it's SMJ! You'll enjoy yourself, and if you pay attention you'll find the answer to this nagging question.

    Oh yeah, Hanagata is at his Hana-best in the early J to X!

    As for the "special item", how can they translate it any other way when he says it aloud in Engrish? It would be a crime...

    In all seriousness,I'd like to contribute my favorite moments with the Fruit Salad Girls...

    Favorite SMJ moments:
    The opening sequence in ep. 6 (from Bloodberry,Lime and Otaru "getting stoned" to Otaru and Lime's unison "What's marriage?" - come to think of it,Cherry's spit take was also pretty funny,especially with Lime laughing at her for it.)
    Like,Japoness' Valley Girl/Guy in ep. 8
    Otaru's tongue-hockey with Luchs in ep. 11
    Iron Chefs in ep. 14
    The Sukiyaki Song in ep. 15 ("Binbou,binbou,kanashii na!")
    Otaru "playing doctor" with the marionettes in ep. 19
    ("Otaru-kun,you can touch MY chest!" [​IMG] - How'd he get out of the stasis chamber?)

    Favorite SMJ Again moments:
    "Wakey-wakey Otaru!" (ep. 1 - Can you say "Squeezably soft?" I knew you could... [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] *nosebleeds*)
    "Damn,Panther's a heavy sleeper!" (ep. 3 - Otaru's not getting any sleep THAT night!!! [​IMG])

    Favorite SMJ to X moments:
    Lime steering the Mecha-Danjiri with her butt in ep. 2
    The discussion of Hanagata's nicknames for Cherry (and Bloodberry) in ep. 8 (actually,my favorite moment in the entire SMJ continuum)
    And finally,Hanagata dressing in drag in ep. 10

    I'd have to watch SMR again to come up with favorite moments for that...
