    It's not very subtle is it :D

    I suppose it's good at giving some of us that feeling of "I'm not the only one!" We can watch it and have our opinion of the evilness of women reaffirmed. Yay.

    I did like the animation and the paper crumpling and the way the music went with it so well.

    Here is something I picked up on: That guy is shallow. Did you see how he ignored that big boned lady! He only cares about looks, that’s why they girls did what that ;p They cant bear his so called 'innocent' questions. "I like your shoes" What he meant is that the most beautiful part of her is her shoes, not her smile or her eyes .. her shoes~!. He wants to insult her because she rejected him.
    Betsy, she knew that he was coming/stalking her, so thats why she was waiting for him. So thats technically count as self defense *nods*

    Try not to read too much into Hertzfeldt's work. It's not like he's Beckett or Resnais or something.

    I watched that movie again to see which part of it funny, but the movie was pointing at how girls like money, and would marry a guy just for his money, I mean, sure, girls want a succeful guy who they can depend on, but not like that.. *sniff*
    And that guy was looking for good looks for the women and not the good of the soul. Which would've been that fat girl!

    Yeah, I am taking that too seriously. I guess because cartoons are being taking from the facts of life..

    As Novus said, you guys are looking far too deep for meaning. Don't take the cartoon too seriously. I mean, I don't think anyone would rip my skin off and pour salt on my wounds in the physical sense.

    It's an artistic form of expression. Here we have a guy who's had his share of rejection. It's sad to admit, but there are girls who won't give the time of day to anyone unless he showers them with gifts and money.

    Which looks good on paper or in a movie, but the human race is superficial and much of attraction is based on the exterior. It's the handsome jerk man the girls fawn over, not the ugly nice guy.
