Well, I personally think one is enough, but be sure to install Firewalls too :)

Buy/Download Norton Internet Security where you get both the AntiVirus Program and the Firewall :)

When I formatted, I installed Norton and it ****ed up. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but it still doesn't work. The only thing it does is pop out some error screens everytime I restart. It's been the 2nd time I formatted and it happens. What's going on?

To the original poster, you should be fine to one if you keep it recent and up to date.

To DS, Try providing a little more detail than "it f***ed up". You say you're getting error screens, so what do they say? What application/version of the Norton software are you running, and on what OS?

Teddz said it best. Get a firewall as well as an antivirus program instead. However, I don't actually recommend software firewalls. Routers, especially linksys, have rather strong natural firewalls...and I recommend them.

Like, an example, I've not gotten the Msblast.exe virus. I just...don't get it. :)

But, yes, a firewall is MORE than recommended.

It's either that or McAFEE Viruscan 7... they both have AVs and Firewalls.

PS. WinXP integrated firewall... has more holes than a whorn-out combat boot sock

The first, unless you're interested in only 30 days of use, or in actual buying the full-fledged product. ^^
