Recreation Any New Year's Resolutions?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
well lets see my plans for 2002...wow i cant believe its here already. i guess my first would be to get a good calender lol, seriously though my main goal is just to be myself and not care what anyone thinks about it which im already working on right now!! relating to m2a i wanna get to know all of you better!! thats about it so i guess ill be seeing yall!!

New Year's resolutions,eh? I won't demean myself by calling them "resolutions" D ),but I do have three goals for the coming year:

1) Graduate from Carnegie Mellon. Pittsburgh's a nice enough city,I suppose,but I've grown a bit tired of no sun for four years straight... rolleyes: )

2) Get a decent job that pays well. Gotta eat and stuff,y'know.

3) Work on personal web page/SMJ shrine and other side projects. Nuff said.

A resolution for Me

My resolution is: to
Learn japanese! Or at least some. I got a japanese-english dictionnary for christmas.

 

I love your energy and enthusiasm. It almost makes me feel guilty for posting my what's left thread. I would like to hang around a bit longer and get to know people better as well.

RL "resolutions": Focus more on school next semester, which involves wasting less time doing nothing.

I would also like to get back to playing volleyball, and ski more.

It would be cool if I could do more to help Vegastrike get off the ground.

Most of all, I want to get back to reading loads of books, like I always used to.

 

I have so many things I'd like to fix up for 2002...

1) Graduate and move before this place finishes driving me crazy.

2) Learn html well enough to make my site look relatively okay.

3) Resurrect my now stone-cold and rotting writing career.

I've got a few for myself ...

#10 - To convince everyone at school that I have been mutated, experimented on, or otherwise altered over the break.
#9 - To get a part in some sort of play ... I wonder what the next school show is ...
#8 - To (finally) get someone to take me seriously (you'd really think that would be easier with my attitude, but I guess it isn't ...)
#7 - To rebuild Mechagodzilla and take over the world
#6 - To be less depressing
#5 - To make myself a more formidable form (I'll be 220 pounds of raw power, you just watch)
#4 - To land myself a girl friend (I sound like I'm talking about a fish ...)
#3 - To regain at least a tiny shred of my life.
#2 - To get some of my poetry published somewhere, and to hopefully not get sent to a psychiatrist for writing it.
#1 - To at least half-finish that book I've been writing ... someday ...
