I might get a blog someday, but then I'd have to learn to blognose.. (yes, reading the article empowered me and taught me new vocabulary. yay newsweek)

Sorry but i don't know what one is either, it sounds like a good conversation but i if i knew what a blog is it would be even more interesting, sorry.

 

It like an online jounral that you can log on to whenever you feel like writing something about yourself. I had one at one point but my life is so boring I couldn't think of anything intresting to type. *

 

Blog is techically a contraction of 'web log' and they can be anything from an online journal (as has been stated) to an easy way to post updates for your webpage.

There are a lot of different providers out there, but I prefer pitas because it's easy to use.

And yes, I do have a blog, even though I don't post all that regularly for the most part. I also have fun designing layouts for various pitas blogs.

Posting a log would be hmmm too intimate? Sometimes i've gotten so depressed that it even scares me. I tried posting something a few days ago. After writing it it felt good... but then I read it again and it depressed me even more (i.e. Oh God I'm so depressive... how depressing, oh no, i got depressed again)

So I don't write. I rather write fics and put my feelings there ^_^
(shhhhh don't tell anyone!)

 

I cant wait im gonna use it also. thanks. i am encouraged to keep one and i get tired of writing. i prefer typing

If you have any sort of webspace that allows direct linking of images (or at least know somebody with webspace) it's really easy. Just find a provider (I suggest Pitas because they're user-friendly and easy to work with) and sign up for an account and you'll be ready to go.

You don't even have to know html to create layouts as most providers have several templates that you can choose from. Templates are kinda boring though, so most people will spice things up with their layout.

Well I was reading blog's of people I know, and I had no clue how to make my own... so I went to pitas.com after looking up blog on this board. But they took forever to send me a password and I couldn't wait!!! so I made a manual blog using HTML.

That guy, no offense, but when i tried to view it, the letters overlapped. I think you should be careful about how you code using absolute values and pixels...

 

Thank you for telling me Luvweaver ^_^x I'll try to fix that as soon as possible, I was having trouble getting it to look right when I put it together too... The one glass/over thing kept on changing positions and looked totally different than how it did in Dreamweaver. I'll have to look at it in different browsers, or remake it @_@x
