    Apollyon is called the angel of the bottomless pit...
    -Encyclopedia Mythica

    I see you love, writhing in pain,
    and I kept here, held by my chain;
    it makes me gnash my teeth in rage,
    but how you truly feel, I've no way to gauge.

    I'd fly if I could, my anger making me soar,
    I don't want you to suffer anymore;
    With flame of hell and brimstone blade,
    I'd free you, love, in a daring raid.

    But I just can't do that, I hate to say,
    with this short chain, there's just no way;
    guess I'm not a strong warrior after all,
    but was I ever if I could fall?

    Or was I just a foolish child, with too much hope?
    please take my dreams, bind them with rope;
    let me die here, bit by bit
    alone, at peace, in my lonely pit.
