as far as i know, no there isnt, they are all how you say "uncut". They haven't showed it on TV so there is no need to cut them.

I don't think that Eva has too much in it that would be considered bad... Sure it is very confusing and targetted at an older audience, but some things rated PG have had worse things in them.. like Titanic ><
I'm sure that there is a cut up version of it, maybe the network you have in England censored things themselves.

Very bloody likely. Eva's so chock full of religious symbolism that my uncle got mad at me for watching it. :D He's very religious...and I GUESS I shouldn't have explained to him what EoE (what I was watching at the time) was all about...then told him that the "monster" became the Tree of Life.

Anyway, yes, there probably would be uncut versions. Only available though on DVD or VHS (do they still make VHS?), and is probably the most preferable way to watch anyway...it's MUCH clearer and stuff. :D

I wouldn't be too surprised if somewhere there was a version where part of the live action section of EoE was cut. AFAIK though, what I've seen has been the whole thing.

Well, there are two versions of certain episodes. For episodes 21-24, there are the TV versions that aired in Japan and were released on video in the US, and there are some extended, 'directors cut' versions that were released on video in Japan. In the director's cuts there were several scenes added and some of the animation was redone. I think this was to bring the TV series a little more in line with some things that were shown in Death that were important in the End.

There will are 26 TV episodes, one remake of the last two, and two more that consist of the movie. So, in all, around 30. But if you go with the end of the TV eps as the total end, then 26.

So u'r saying there IS:eek: an uncut Evangelion?
Exactly what do u mean by "UNCUT"
Is it more violent? Is there PORN:D ? Is it more insulting to religious people? Do they swear?
    WHAT? WHAT? WHAT?
cause if there really is, ill be really annoyed, cause i have (or thought i had) the whole series on dvd, but now your saying i have to buy more dvds? cause i have no more money, i am only 14, and i dont have a job yet, so i couldnt really afford it.
But if there really is, i might beg and beg my parents, and cry and cry and scream and shout until they get it for me(joke).
Nah, so there really is an UNCUT Evangelion?
If there is, ill work out a way to make money and get it on dvd.

If ya look at the other posts, it's asking about the TV version in the UK. If you have the DVD set, then you should be fine. With the exception of the EoE, if you haven't gotten that yet. It's better to read all the posts here...though I can understand excitement or fragile disappointment about hearing something about a series you enjoy. It'll be alright if ya take a few minutes. :D

If you haven't read it already, EoE remakes episodes 25 and 26. And the movie has more of what you've asked. More violence, more sexually themed parts, more religious icons, more swearing, about 3 tons more blood, an ocean of LCL, and a very disturbing picture of Kaworu.
