What the hell is neopets?

 

neopets is a thing to raise lil creatures.

I usta be there, but my lil guys starved! muahahaha! It got boring anyway @_@

 

yeah same here. I dont go on neopets that much so my pet is dieing. . . . and frankly i dont seem to care. . . . . Oh well. But there is more to raising your pets Lady shadow. You can go to guilds and do stuff too. Like talk to people and post computer drawn pictures.

I have a JubJub who I named fluffd00d, and he is pretty powerful so far but a month ago I just got fed up with the whole site because I constantly did all of this stuff with him, like groom and play games but he wouldn't stop being depressed.. so I was like frell you. Also, I can't understand how there are members with millions of neopoints when it can take like 3 days to even get 1000. Or even those times where the neopet has an unholy disease and you look in shops for a cure and other members are thinking "oh.. this will be in high demand!!" so they sell the cure to that disease for 100 000.

Just my rant about neopets, I've pondered on hax0ring them but meh..

Neopets is a massive virtual pet site. It's got a pretty nice set-up and good graphics, but is so huge that most of the decent usernames are taken. And a lot of members feel that it's corrupt and not very user-friendly (accounts get frozen very easily, for one thing).

 

I go on Neopets too! Heheheh, guess what my username is there...

Yeah, Neopets started as some people's college project I think, and then it steadily got bigger and bigger. Literally millions of accounts there! The junk thing about neopets is that there are a LOT of immature kids there, so the message boards get extremely spammish. (Nice though that each thread automatically deletes itself in 15-30 minutes or so.)

 

I'm also on Neopets, as shadow_anki. It's a fun site, but it can take up far too much time if you let it. The recent expansion into the realm of CCGs is...addicting. But that's the way all CCGs are, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

I haven't had as much time to go lately as I would have liked to, so I'm sure my pets are dying. They can never actually die though, which is a plus, I suppose.

And That guy!, the reason some people have so many neopoints is because they're very, very good at a lot of the games, and they get lucky. If you really want to get depressed, look up Antorcha the Shoryu (owner is Hrobi).

Luck's a definite factor... Then again, I do toss a few pics at the Art Gallery now and again, which is a nice 10,000 neopoints and an expensive item if it gets in. X3 But I don't play as much as I used to, it's just sort of something to do when I'm not really involved in anything else online.

 

Actually, gaining millions of neopoints is not so impossible. You just need to know how to play the Stockmarket game, as well as the Food Club game. (I play both nearly everyday, even without playing anything else.)

You can actually get 10,000 for each pic you submit? Whoa, I never knew that! Is there a limit? I never did submit pics there cuz I never got into doing neopets fan-art.

 

I've only been on for a few days. Mostly out of boredom and something to do with the computer when I'm not studying.

I am kelnorsayay, I don't get how people get so much money, things are so much money on the site is isn't funny. I got 1,000 in 1 day nad I thought that would be enough to buy somehitng then I look and everything is like, 5,000 for a toy. You can buy a house for cheaper, well the land anyway!
