Argh I feel like being an atheist

I'm not sure what to believe, but right now I'm very tempted to say flat out that there is no god.

Warning I'm "about to type out my emotions so that random people can go and say "don't say such things" not that they will actually do such a thing"...

Why did god create the devil... humans are bad enough
we can't get to hell soon enough so we're making our own right here on earth

I wanted to watch it... I wanted to see what science had to say about global warming and how we pathetic humans are screwwing over the planet right as I type...... I don't know that I've mentioned it here, but I would rather have never existed as a human or other wise. I hate being human, I hate feeling so helpless, and I hate how crapy the world is going to get in the next hundred years. Yeah, that's how depressing it was to me... I'm sure many people didn't watch and could care less.... but I find it rather devastating that with in the next one hundred years, over half the species will go extinct.... that's pretty dam depressing to me. And then there are the untold millions that will die due to famine and wars over viable land.... yeah real hope inspiring. But guess what, it's not the end of the world now, and if we work hard now we might be able to slow down the current trend.

Feeling worthless...

 

Well..

We all have those days where we just don't believe. Lack of faith entirely out of it, sometimes we feel like it's been so rough, that there could be no way any god would allow it. But those are the trials of life. They make us or they break us..All I can say is, you don't want to let them break you.

 

You're right in something...

we're destroying the planet.

See, just because there is a God doesn't mean that people can't be evil. See.... God created both humans and angels with the ability to love - and for love to exist, there needs to be freedom. But with freedom, there's the possibility of choosing evil.

The devil was an angel who chose to do evil. And the first humans chose to do evil, too. This was called the original sin.

See, all the self-destruction you see out there is caused by sin - in other words, selfishness. Evil.

Evil is not a nature in itself, it's a defect in the way of doing things. Why are people evil? I don't know, they just choose to do evil. Even if we suffer a lot, we still have the choice of doing good or evil.

I don't think that it's logical to think that because there's evil, there is no God - because see.... Jesus died for our sins. Why is evil in the world? Because christians aren't doing our job. In this, those of us who refuse to do good, will be judged according to their deeds.

If you want to change the world, you must first let yourself be changed by God's love. Then act upon that love.

And how do you do that? Well, it requires a dialogue (DIALOGUE, not monologue) between you and God. You need to communicate with God. In other words, pray.

Have faith, not everything's lost! If you're still here, it's for a reason

 

Go with the atheist idea

Don't worry about what will happen in 100 years, you'll most likely die in seventy. Live your life, then be done with it for good. There is nothing you can do because this winter its going to be so cold the ants will die too, so play with the grass hoppers and enjoy it while you still can.

Your religion is your own opinion. If you think the bible and its storys, philosophys, and explainations are correct, stick with it. But look into some other religions. Like Satanism, or something more philosophy based. Couldn't hurt.

Just think it out first, but don't fret what you can't help.
