    Okay, here at M2A we're dying to see some of our members artistic talent...

    If you could redesign the main page's graphic, what would it look like? Here's your chance to show off your skills...

    Make us a new image that could take the place of our current one. You are free to design it any way that you want, and there are no limitations on what you could create!

    To enter, there are no qualifications, only a love of anime/manga... and you can make as many entries as you like.

    Send your entries to baka@mangatoanime.com by the contest deadline: December 31st, 2001.

    The winning entry will take the place of honor on M2A's main page! Good Luck, and we're anticipating to see your work!

    I was wondering if there is some way that we could have a logo for each forum. And maybe make some code up so that every time you open up the index page it changes the logo.
    'tis just an idea of mine...

    Here's the two that I made so far, and I included the logo for mangatoanime by Cloud. It was kind of a quick job though [​IMG]

    Oh, I'm still thinking of a mascot for M2A... And I'll make a logo with him/her/it when I'm done.

    Quick! Scroll your page up to the top! See that 'banner' there (The online store?)? Each forum can have a different banner... It is possible...

    2nd off, I was thinking of a little itty-bitty script that picks a random pick for the main page...but only thinking so far...don't hold me to any of this.

    erm!, I meant to have a banner like the ones I posted on the main page. And every time you reload the page a different banner opens... and we could have an Eva banner, a Love Hina banner, an SMJ banner, etc.

    You can maybe take a look at the code I used for the 'Xeno Says' quotes on my index page at The Domain of the Hitokiri and modify it for pics...

    Oh, it's far from difficult, my friend!

    A simple JavaScript call that takes a quick random number, and sets the image src based on it...

    BakaMattSu, I didn't mean I could not do it, just that I wasn't sure if I would or not - WE NEED MORE ART!

    The thing is, that it has to do with all animes unless we put the random gif.
    What could be so perfect as to encompass al anime and manga?

    I know that I said that "I'm gonna draw something fer the contest", but anyways I would like to post what I have done so far...

    This was an image I found on the net and I thought it would be awesome to make something out of it. so I altered a few things here and there (cutting the images and taking the M2A logo and putting them together) and added a few touches(the Sakura). The was the final result:

    hopefully I would come up with something original, by december... I hope I can make it in time...

    anyways what do you think of the work? rushed? crappy?
