Celebrations As we near 1,000 members...

    As we reach 1,000 members, I reflect back on when I joined this fabulous forum...Nigh over a year ago, with only around 150-ish members and 30-ish forums...We did without the forums you take for granted, like this very Announcement Forum! And we had to walk 15 miles uphill both ways IN THE SNOW no less to reach most of these forums...No, I made that part up. Sorry. Ah, twas grand, and it still continues to be...This thread has no real point, "SPAM!" some may proclaim, but apox on ye! IM FEELING NOSTALGIC, DAMMIT! The main reason i called this thread was to thank all the members of this great community for making it so wonderful :D
    1,000 members, may we see 1,000 more...

    I was just thinking about this. It's a monumental mark, 1000. We've made a mark on the WWW for sure with a number that large. Think of all the guests on top of that we've had. It boggles the mind, it does...

    Just like what they do when they open new places and new shopping malls and such :p

    Well, I can still remember how this board was empty!! The members I guess, they were able to be counted on your own fingers!!

    That goes to the forums too!! :D

    sigh...i'm pretty sure there was around 30 -50 memebers here when i joined...it's certainly grown since. way to go m2a...let's keep growing and keep being the way we are! cause it works

    wow this is such a major like COOL THING! yes its true ive been a member for only a little more than a year but this forum has exploded (in a good way obviously) heehee i had no idea we had grown so big til this thread! funfunfun! cheers to the founding members who made this place great to start with as well as every member who has made M2A what it is today---AWESOME! *raises her glass* congrats m2a

    Well well well...we've past the 1010 mark, too, already. I guess that this site is getting more publicity than I had though. I came in around 780's or something like that. And since then, it has skyrocketed. ^_^ Good members, all. Or at least, most. I love you guys! :D

    I may not be one of teh originals, like BB said, but I'm glad I'm part of the M2A troupe!!!!

    Just wondering, who were the original first ten members (those who are still here at least). Would they show their faces? Any way to find out? I'm pretty sure DrunkenL has to be down there somewere with BB too.

    Actualy, I was not one of the earliest members, I only joined towards the end of 2001, M2A actualy having started in and around the spring of that year. I've just remained consistently here in the mean time, and I was on a lot during last summer. I actualy had to earn my modship, unlike some people...

    I joined m2a 16th July while tooms did on 15th July, I remember I was at her place and she showed me this site, and when I got home, about 12 am :p which the date was 16th, I joined .. I guess :sweat:

    When I joined I was in my late 16 years, and now I am 18!!

    God!! I spent most of my great teenage years in m2a!! :D
