To make simple movies, there's a tool microsoft usually includes in your windows package called Movie Maker. I've been told it's fairly easy to use, but never tried it myself. If you don't have it, you can easily grab it:
    Download for XP

If you're seriously willing to spend the cash, Adobe's Premiere is a very versatile video suite.

And, of course, if the original video you make isn't an MPG or AVI, or you have an existing video you'd like to convert, SaberJ2X provided some excellent freeware encoders.

ok thanks. It all worked out. i used windows movie maker then converted it with TMPG Enc. IT kinda took awhile.

while i am thinking of it. Do any of you know how i can make casino games in my RPG? like keep track of coins or tokens? Play card games or slot machines. i have the tile sets but i dont know how to make the induvidual games. Kinda like in The game boy games pokemon where you can play on the slot machines and keep track of tokens and trade them in for items. I want to make somthing like that. Is it possible? If so how?

Certainly possible. You just need to make the necessary functions. I'm sure someone has an RPG Maker Tutorial for just such a thing out there somewhere.
