Name the inventions you like or made on your own. Plus you need to say the inventor.

SPORK

I like the spork it has puzzled me who actually invented the spork. So many ppl claime to invent the spork but who actually did. Does anyone know?

 

Here's something I made. It's not a new invention, but it is quite unique. Its basically the product of too much free time, being in the vicinity of scrap metal, and knowing how to use a wielding torch.

Its a 3/4 inch breech, one foot long barrel, has a rear door for loading, is mounted on a spring attached sleeve for recoil absorbment, and actually works! I've fired off some stuff with this thing until I started running low on firecrackers.

 

This isn't a new invention but it's a table lamp I made last year. It's potentially dangerous because it doesn't have an earth wire :sweat:

The light shade is suppose to face the other way but the my teacher posed it like this because it hides the wire sticking out of the far pole.

 

i would have to say a cheese cutter. not a wire one but one of those with the prongs at the end like a giant fork and a knife thing in the middle where alls you have to do is slide the cheese cutter across the block of cheese and it cuts wonderful slices of cheese. but i have no idea who invented it. i just think its a pretty nifty invention

But, thw comp is by far the best invention... aside from... no... you dont want to hear it...

 

the bagel cutter! not a knife. But its like a hollow plastic thing that is about the size of a bagel then you push the blade in to it. When you put the bagel in it and push down.. . . TA DA it has been cut! it really isnt that cool it is just easier than a knife.

I'm currently working on creating an electromagnetic pulse cannon, also known as a coilgun. I'll post some pics when we have finished the prototype model.

i'm a creating a pillow that stays cool through out the night while you are sleeping so it is always comfortable. i still have to figure out how to keep the pillow dry though.

 

Well i cant believe there are so many inventories here. Me i can barely make a piece of toast. Ok i could if i tried. Only thing i did that was neat make a two story fort. I was little okay. And my parents destroyed it. *cries* oh the memory of it all. I tried to make an igloo onces Yes in North Dakota, USA. But the winter wasn't long enough

1. Sporks (got to love them i would so buy stock if there was any available)

3. Geogre Foreman Grill (whoever invented that did gooood )
4. Cups (i would never want to use a bowl to drink out of)

7. Post cards (cost less to send the stamps)
8. KFC (not an invention but still a good place to eat)

My list for stupid inventions
1. perfect pancake maker (my pancake flipped out of the pan )
2. food chopper (cant cut crap onless its already cut up)
3. Spice Rack

i know i invented something but cant remember what it was. Maybe someday ill remember

EDIT: oh no i forgot about TOILET paper (very needed) and wet wipes

 

I say the microwave,it has served me well giving me many hot meals on my many many lazy days.

The day this thread got started, I tried to post but nothing came to mind... But today, I was looking around and I read Basher19's post and it hit me... Paper... How could I forget paper??
