For a while I put my deck down to the rest for early retirement. I had never lost a battle and couldn't find anyone else. But now I have found new players at my school who were in the dark from me. I have decided to pick my deck back up again and show my stuff once again. This time is different though. My original deck is full of Japanese cards and I have decided to go by tournament rules. I will take the cards in my original deck that can be still used while keeping my other cards in a safe place. My original deck was built after Yugi's of the Battle City. This time I'm going with mainly a Fiend deck with a few twists that I think my opponent will enjoy. So here's my question to all of you. Who's done something like this and who still plays Yu-Gi-Oh?

This is a nice little topic idea...I feel bad that i myself can't post any stories of my own because I was never really into the card game. ^^; (I'm a cheap little thing...buying cards was too much for me...and then my brother went and stole all the cards I ever had so he could trade them with his friends...he denies taking my BEWD from my Kaiba deck, but I KNOW he took it....unless it feel behind the dresser OO <---There's my YGO story XD)

Hm....mind if i change the title of this to Personal YGO Stories? It may get more posts that way.

I used to have the most powerful, and rarest deck ever.

How was it rare? Well, you know how there's a monster in the back of every type of booster pack, I had them all. Not on my deck, but my deck was preety rare. The Blue Eyes I had was not a common started deck one.

But still, same in this situation, with no players left, I gave up on the game and sold the cards (for a LOT of money).

But since MegaCon last year, I decided to make a new deck. All commons, but still very powerful.

Almost all cards are dragons, which by the way own the game!:p

I sold some of my rarest cards for a good sum of money and am sticking with my new hobby, Warhammer 40K. :) I still love to give the old deck a spin. I play that starter deck with zombies, and let me tell you, it's total ownage. Seriously. :) There are some extreme combos in there.

I have never really gotten into the cards. I have played some of the games for the system. I played once with my brother. I can see how people like it. But I am not very good at keeping things. So chances are my deck would be lost inside the room of a 3 year old.
