Today is the day of the holloween ball, it seems hard to beleve that its been a year already since the last one, where i made a really big effort to go out dressed as the Grim Reaper. It was a fun night in the end i think, although i probably didn't drink enough and it lashed rain all night. The only bad thing now is that people are turning to me for a repeat performance of last year and are wanting to know what i am going to be dressing up as. Well, i'm afraid that the bad news i probably won't be getting dressed up this year. I didn't find out about the ball until this week and even still, i have to many projects to be doing at the moment, not to mention i'm supposed to be organising an AGM for the networking society. So its going to be really kinda hard to come up with something to dress up as in the next few hours, cause if i do go out i really don't want to go around looking half-assed. Well, i think Lucy may be going to look for some stuff today, so maybe i'll go with her when i have a chance to have a look for something small to wear, but nothing fancy this year i'm afraid (although knowing my luck, when i say i'll be wearing somehting small, i'll probably get something big anyway).
I have decided to try and get my plans for a summer holiday off to a start really early this year. At first i was thinking of going somewhere to work, and i was thinking australia, but since it would cost me more money then its worth to get a working visa, i'm now thinking about going on a tracking holiday of some sort. I'm still thinking of doing it in Australia, but now South America has also come across as an interesting choice to go as well. The one mager draw back to all this is that one of my friends is really intent on going to Australia, because i mentioned it to him during the summer and we were planning on going. I don't know what i must have been drinking when i asked him to come along, cause even though he's a mate, he's not that reliable, and if he were to come i can only really see him getting us in trouble, and i know the idea is still fresh in his mind cause he mentoned it to me on saturday (and it probably didn't help when we started talking to those 2 Aussie chicks either). I'm not looking forward to telling him that i don't want to go with him, and until then i'm going to have to go behind his back and organise this whole thing on my own. I think that this is going to be a nessicary evil, cause i think it would be better for my stress level, and health in general.

Prioritize, bro. If you've got too much to do then don't worry about the Holloween party. There's always next year, and by then I'm sure you'll have something to put the reaper to rest.

Austrailia is a Mecca for sailors in the US Navy. Girl to guy ratio is 3 to 1 (according to everyone who's ever been there). I would strive to get a working Visa if I were in your shoes. South America never seemed as interesting as the land down under, but that's just my opinion.
