Art Banner Request

    Okay, I'm having trouble duoing a banner. I used gimp. Is that a good software or what? And, how do you get someone to upload it to a site? My banners Are ust rubble with out aa better software.

    Hmm.. banners as banners for linking websites. I would recommmend photoshop. As for uploading them to a site, um well you either have to send to the site's webmaster (owner) to upload it... I don't fully understand your query, but I hope I can help... :)

    what are you using for your webserver? most of them have uploading program that you can just choose your picture and put them on your webspace. Another way is to use ftp... an example is typing ftp://username:password@ftp.angelfire(or whatever you're using).com in your internet address box and you can just drag your files into your online folder.

    you should use Adobe Photoshop to create your logo's, that program rocks!!! any program is fine to use though and I suggest using Jpeg, Gif, or Bmp format for your logo ^^

    Gimp is a good graphics program. Certainly good enough to make banners with! As for uploading, you'd normally upload it to the same server / site you're going to use it as a link for, right? Maybe if you could give a few more details on what exactly you're having problems with, it'd be easier to help you ^_^! Good luck with your banner!

    o_O Toma-chan, that's a very pretty banner! Skuld, you have skills! I know how to make them, but all of mines are very sucky..

    Yeah, I recommend Adobe Photoshop. It's da bomb! (kinda..^^; )

    ah~ my banners are so bad compared to yours...;_;
    anywayz, i use photoshop 6.0 and sometimes Macromedia Fireworks for my graphic making needs ^_^ I just lack the talent to make them ;_;

    I have many many banners that could be useful, but sadly I cant
    post them al here .. so I am going to make a webpage for them for
    you guys to look, if you liked something take it .. ok :)

    Here's the logo for my Hitokiradio website, http://hitokiradio.tripod.com/title.gif <----I hope that will show up >.<


    Oh and I'll upload my other one for The Domain of the Hitokiri here too, it's not that great compared to others though :(:(:(
