These two series are probally the best two Batman adventures ever.

Both are murder mysteries (Available in graphic novel form). In The Long Halloween, there is a killer knocking off mob members left and right on holidays. Batman has to figure out who "Holiday" is and stop him/her, with EVERYONE as a suspect.

Dark victory is the sequal to Long Halloween and picks up about a year after the other story. More killings have started, now police are dying, this time the killer has been dubbed "Hang Man" do to the fact all the victims were hung. Now Batman must figure out if the killer Holiday is up to old tricks, or if a copycat killler has entered the game.

They are definate must reads for anyone who considers themself a true Bat fan.

(For those who have read either, try not to give any spoilers or clues, so you don't ruin the story for any future readers.:D)

    You are my hero.

I LOVE those G.N.s Ive read them like a hundred times. Personally, I like LH better then DV though I will give DV MAJOR props for making Robin remotely cool and not dumb and annoying. The plot was great, Godfather meets Batman kinda stuff and the character development, especially of H. Dent was freaking awsome.

    You Rock

Hey, have you read the Killing Joke?

Being a big Batman fans myself, I have to say honestly that I haven't read these two titles--I keep looking at them at my comic store, but never pick them up.

What other Batman stories jump out at you??

    Batman: HUSH

This was a really good storyline. You will really enjoy this one. It tested the Bat from the first page to the very end.
