Recreation Battle Royale- Movie or Manga?

I have seen the Manga and the movie and personally I cant decide between them. The movies characters seem to look a lot better and the story is different. The story line is a little different. The manga has a longer and more explanitory story line which is noce but thye drawings arent really my slice of bread. The characters in the movie are really wel played but the story line isnt that explanitory. What do you think? Also the Manga is a lot more vulgar. Swearing and nudity are much more....shown.

 

I Prefer the Movie more than the Manga though. It's better to see the plot "In Real Life"

I think I like the book best - -' But between the manga and the movie I like the movie better.

 

Ive never read the book. I heard its very similar to the movie. Is it? Personally I like the movie the best. The mangs has a better story but its a bit to grusome for me.

 

Well the movie was based on the book so they're more or less similar. The only reason I preferred the book over the movie was because the book had the characters much better developed and I'm a sucker for character development There are a few differences though... like

Shogo and Kazuo are in the class because they are, not because they transferred
There's a different teacher, as in the movie and in the manga, hence no favoritism going on (i.e. the Mitsuko and Noriko thing
Kazuo feels no emotion because when he was little he got into a car accident... a bit iffy about that one.
The two that hang themselves have a whole different thing going on
Mitsuko used to get pimped out by her mother at the age of 9

hmmm. that sounds good. Does any one know here I could get a copy? I like character development alot to ^^. In the manga only Kawada is a transfer student. I think they all have similarities. I probably would like the book best if I read it ...les grusome. I wonder if I should put that on the poll?

 

I got it at a local Barnes and Noble but it's a pretty big one so I don't know if all the stores would have a copy. I know that you could get a copy at amazon for sure. If you put it on the poll I know I'd vote for it

 

Book vs. Manga

I enjoyed the Book alot more than the Manga,
The Manga made Sakamochi much more perverted than he really was, but I guess they needed something in there to keep the sukebe-yaro's reading the manga...
I havn't yet finished the book and I'm still caught up in it there are dozens of scenes I wish they had put in to either the manga or the movie to help show character developement but I guess they can't show everything
Really if you liked the movie I would suggest the book, much greater detail and wonderful story
(but maybe thats just because I'm totally in love with the story)

But has anyone seen a place to download a copy of Battle Royale II?
