Character Profiles

Characters will be accepted to this RPG on the basis of applications, which means that just because you put up a profile does NOT mean you'll be accepted. One character per person. (There is only one exception to this, but even if you could figure it out, I wouldn't allow it because someone else already got it.)

Good use of the English language will weigh rather heavily on whether or not your app will be accepted. I also HIGHLY emphasize creativity -- if your character is good enough I am more than willing to ignore punctuation errors... IF they are few. Apps will be reviewed by DS and I. Good luck~! ^_~

Name: (last name not necessary, but it'd be nice)

Background: (be brief (but not choked up ^_~) and creative)

* [race] Given race is Human, so you don't have to write what race your character is. However, in some special cases, there may be Half-Humans. (If you've read the lore part of the Ziacgam thread, you'll know what I'm talking about.) It is preferred that your character be human -- we MAY have NO MORE than FOUR Half-Humans. This will be for DS and me to decide.

[class] No more than four characters can have a class. Two or three may be a class-in-training. They are your basic Dungeons and Dragons classes: Wizard, Sorceror, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Paladin, Monk, Barbarian, Bard, Rogue, and Ranger. If you don't know what these are, just ask.

[weapon] Anyone can have a weapon, but I would prefer it if only six or seven characters did. Characters with classes MUST select a weapon (the only exception is Monk).

** Select three: first/preferred, second, and third choice. I will assign to you the one who most suits your character.

*** The D&D alignments, EXCLUDING ALL EVIL ONES. Choose one of these: Lawful Good, Chaotic Good, Neutral Good, Lawful Neutral, Chaotic Neutral, and Neutral. These are great for defining your character. If you don't know what they are, ask and the answers shall be given. (Ask Angel of Light if you want the best possible answers -- she has a D&D Player's Handbook. ^_~)

Note: The characters without classes will NOT be defenseless. As said, any character can use one weapon. Those who can't will be allowed a small array of offensive, defensive, and/or healing magic. Most Ziacgai (Ziacgamian sounds bad -- Ziacgai is the word for a resident/patriot/citizen/etc of Ziacgam) know a spell or two.

 

Name: Lakia Micea
Age:16
Race, Class, Weapon: Half-human, half Pairai (But doesn't know), No class, Bow and arrow/Spear
Patron Sprite: Darivas
Apperance: Short dark brown hair with a red ribbon, large violet eyes, pale skin. Wears comfortable clothing: white long sleeved tunic, dark brown skirt, black leggings underneath, and brown leather boots.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Temperament: Very independent, but friendly. Doesn't like to cry in front of others and act all strong and stuff even though she isn't exactly. Likes to be in control of things and when she's not, she's pretty much a mess. Will fight to the death for what she believes in (which for now is only her father and their tavern). Get Lakia mad and she'll likely slap you .

Background:Lives with her father in their tavern near a forest (where tavellers stop for a rest before continuing on their journeys), where she works. Her father used to be a hunter and a guide for most of the forests in the area. Lakia doesn't know much of her mother, her father told her she died giving birth to her but thats about it. Lakia, feeling it to be a sad topic for him, never pressed for more info. Her father, who was a former adventurer/Ranger, has taught her how to use the bow and arrow and spear for hunting, since most of the food served at their tavern was hunted from the forest.

Name: Markku Estrin
Age: 17
Race: Human
Class: n/a
Weapon: Soul Breaker(Glaive)
Patron Sprite: Matidell
Appearence: Light armor on his torso and arms...black hair, tied back in a tail...blue eyes....an X scar across on his face, like so: oXo.....black pants.....and light leg armor from his knees down. Has something to carry his glaive on his
back.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Temperament: Nice young man, thinks of others before himself. Calm, cool never angry, but when his friends are in danger, he's a force to be reckoned with.

Background: Markku never knew his parents, when he was small, he was found in a forest by a blacksmith who raised him. As a small child he learned to use weapons such as swords, but later found interests in glaives. When Markku was 15 Kelka Estrin, the blacksmith, fell ill. Only he knew of this, he didn't tell the boy. As his final task, Kelka made the Soul Breaker for Markku. After Kelka died, Markku built a cabin behind a waterfall, where he lives. A young spirited boy, he likes to walk into the forest and admire nature.

Name: Yuu (male) and Yuuki (female) Fukami
Age: 16
Race, Class, Weapon: Yuu: Human, Fighter, one of a pair of very sharp daggers | Yuuki: Human, no class, the other dagger in the set
Patron Sprite: Ami'ena
Appearance: Yuu: short brown hair, blue eyes, very tall. Everything he wears is black except his shoulder cuffs, (white) a emblem on his chest, fore arm armour, and armour in front of the lower part of his legs under his knees. (and a belt as well) Wears black shoes as well. | Yuuki: brown, wavy hair a bit past her shoulders, blue eyes, also very tall. White pants, a white shirt as well with long, bell like sleeves. Shoulders cuffs on her shoulders (duh.....) that are also white and a black belt that hangs loopsided on her waist with many different puches. Wears many silver and gold ankle and wrist bangles. Wears white leather shoes as well.
Alignment: Yuu: Chaotic neutral | Yuuki: Neutral Good

Temperament: Yuu: quiet most of the time, though with a terribly bad temper. The 'deadly' combination results in coldness. If he can he likes to stir up a bit of trouble amogst others, even those he may possibly like. | Yuuki: also very quiet, but very cheerful. She's just extremly shy. Once she's a bit more open she'll speak a bit more but still not a whole lot. She also has a bad temper, but not as bad as her brother's. She also tends to clean any messes her brother started. It also seems, that the only things that come out of Yuu and Yuuki's mouths are arguments with each other, for that is seemingly all the two ever do with each other.

Background: Yuu and Yuuki are twins. Born to a rather poor family, the two grew up bickering with each other and doing things only for themselves, since their parents were constantly working and therefore never home. Ala, they never got any real disicpline and went on hating each other's guts. When they were 14 their parents died so they had to work harder together. Hopefully their 'bondage' actually became a 'reality'.

Btw, they are two halves of a whole (though Gata already knows this ).

Ne, I think Yuu's temperament is more Chaotic Neutral than Chaotic Good. ^_^;; Chaotic Neutral with good intentions is more like it. I've changed the profile to reflect this. -SP

Patron Sprite: Jamara
Apperance: Dresses in blue and black robes.
Alignment: Neutral Good

Temperament: She is very patient but if you hit one of her pet peeves and remain rude about it get ready to face a whirlind of anger, especially if you hit her number one pet peeve.... insulting anyone who is close to her.

Background: She is studying to follow her mother's footsteps. Her father died before she was born and she doesn't know much about him. She is the oldest child in the family and has 7 younger siblings, all fathered by her step father. Her step father is nice enough and is a huge help to her training as well.

Name: Aeiskai Keitaro

Apperance: Has a long black robe with a hood. His hair is short and black with a few strands of red.
Alignment: Neutral Good

Temperament: Aeiskai is a very quiet and somewhat cold person. He has little regard for life. He speaks sometimes, but usually keeps to himself. For all his life, he has been a loner.

Background: Aeiskai was taken from his parents at the age of five. He was taken by one of the most powerful sorcerors ever and has been his apprentice ever since. At the age of 12, he was badly injured by a poisonous snake. Since then, he has not ever had a purpose for living. He, to himself, is a body with no soul. Something that is just "living" and nothing more.

Name: Sagwa Inneko
Age: 14
Race, Class, Weapon: No class; knows a few basic attack and defense spells, plus one or two totally useless spells; carries a slingshot and a sling
Patron Sprite: Megasa
Apperance: Long, whispy, shoujo-style pink hair; red eyes
Alignment: Neutral Good

Temperament: Friendly and cheerful, Sagwa is a cute girl who loves dancing amid sparkles (which she casts... and are usually pink, red, silver, and gold). She is likely to charm anyone she meets, though some might be pushed away by her gregarious personality. She's so open that she'll probably get hurt easily. (But then beware Taku. Mwahah.)

Background: Sagwa grew up in a middle-class family in Nodum, where she has lived all her life. Her life was very normal: she had two older sisters and one older brother, all of whom loved her, her family was warm and caring, and she loved them all back in return. One day when she was seven, as she was trying to cast the sparkles spell alone for the first time, it backfired and she got hurt. She started to cry, and then a silver-haired boy came to help her. His name was Taku Hayami, and from then on he was her best friend. She visited him in his forest home, where she brought him food. They had adventures there, too, playing pretend, and sometimes finding a magic crystal or two.

 

Name: Natalie Starkly
Age: 18
Race, Class, Weapon: Half-Human, Half Jinni but unknown to her; Sorceress; weapon is a golden manacle that is on her right arm
Patron Sprite: Fados
Appearance: Natalie has long dark brown hair that is curly. She wears a dress of a midnight blue or deep sea green and always has matching shoes to go with it. Natalie wears a dark cloak over her dresses. Her eyes match her dresses perfectly they change from midnight blue to deep sea green.
Alignment: Chaotic Good

Temperament: Natalie has a mild temperament. It takes a lot to get her mad but when she does fury comes in her eyes. She is likely to stun you with her manacle. The effects will wear off after a few minutes. Natalie is also independent. She barley listens to people that are of classes above her. Natalie thinks all should be equal. She has a kind heart towards animals and children. Natalie will fight for the death for any cause that she thinks is worth living for. She is only friendly when she wants to be.

Background: Natalie was raised by her mother. Her mother is human and her father is a Jinni. Natalie has never met her father and she never will. Her mother will not allow it. Natalie lives in a small farm with her mother and several annoying half-brothers and half-sisters. Her family is not poor thanks to her step father who she thinks is her real father. Because of his status Natalie was able to start her Sorceress training. She quickly learned and became the fastest class-in-trainee to become a full Sorceress in little time. Considering Natalie is half Jinni she was able to learn the skills faster than normal humans. But if Natalie’s secret is found out (which is also kept from her) she could lose her status and bring dishonor upon her family. Her family could lose everything because she was born.


Natalie seems to be Chaotic Good, so I've added that for you. ^_^ -SP

Name: Taku Hayami
Meaning: High Standing + Fast Water
Age: 15
Birthday: January 20th
Astrological Sign: Aquarius
Patron Sprite: Etmos
Alignment: Neutral
Race: Human
Class: Necromancer
Weapon: Silver Wand

Appearance: Taku has short silvery hair and deep blue eyes. He wears the clothes Sagwa gave him as a present on his 10th Birthday.

Temperamental: Taku is a very lonesome person. Having lived the most of his life alone nothing could help that change in attitude. He is very responsible, and friendly. However, he has a hard time trusting people.

Background: Taku Hayami was abandonned by his parents after they discovered his Necromancer abilities. He woke up in a cave not knowing where he was or what he was doing there. He had to give his life a fresh start, alone. On a summer day, when he was out to hunt, he noticed a pink girl was there crying in the middle of the forest, she was hurt. Her name was Sagwa Inneko. He quickly rushed to help her. From then on they became best friends. Sagwa visited Taku in his forest home, where she brought him food. They had adventures there, too, playing pretend, and sometimes finding a magic crystal or two.

Name: Erasmus Fagin
Age: 21
Race, Class, Weapon: Human, Drunken Master, Brass knuckles
Patron Sprite: Binam
Apperance: Disheveled dirty blonde hair, semi-tight fitting clothes (he's not wearing a cloak, but he's also not wearing spandex. He's basically wearing street clothes.), pale brown skin. Eyes are grey.
Alignment: Chaotic good

Temperament: He's almost always staggering around as though, well, drunk. When he drinks, however (as is the characteristic of a Drunken Master), he becomes quite agile and fast. He uses the toxicity of the drinks to his advantage; however, this effect does not wear off after the fight. He stays drunk just like any normal human. He's also always playing tricks on people, just to see their reactions.

Background: He started his career as a fighter, with the hopes of becoming a Drunken Master when he came of legal age. His pranks on people have always gone unchecked, and his past is forgotten thanks to drinking. Before his initiation as a Drunken Master, no one knew who he was, and very few cared if they ever saw him. Many think that he drinks with the purpose of forgetting in mind. He cannot remember why himself.

Weapon: Nobleman's Spear, has fencing training and magic training.
Sprite: Indinav
Appearance: Light blue long hair, Tall and strong. Holds himself in high regard. Wears noblemen's cloths of various colors.
Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Temperament: He is a bit snobby because of his position as the Barons only son. He is adventurous and loyal. He looks highly upon himself and expects others to do the same. He fights for nobility, law, for his own freedom and the freedom of others. He believes that people shouldn't be raised in a certain class and not be able to enter a different one, which is why he leaves his home to get away from that kind of life and into another.

Background: He is the only son of the Baron and Baroness of Nodum. He was raised thus. He has been given a high education, which includes magic skills and fencing ability, allowing him to be able to stand his ground in battle. He has grown tired of a noble's life and seeks adventure.


I'm allowing him to be nobility because, quite frankly, it could happen. ^^; So... yeah. Despite my initial "NO!"-ness... Accepted! -SP
