    I've seen episodes 1,2,3,5,6,10 and 11.
Its obvious that Inuyasha from the first episode of Inuyasha that Inuyasha was in love with Kikyou. While watching the first episode it never occoured to me that the old lady was Kikyou's younger sister.
    Here is my stupid question:
    -What's with the eyepatch?
-Why doesn't the flee guy ever die after being stomped several times by other characters
-Why does Inuyasha has the cat-like-ear and his bother has elf ears?
-I believe it was in episode 6 when Sesshomaru somehow pulled out the "black pearl" from Inuyasha's eyes. Does that make Inuyasha blind in one eye? What effect does it have on Inu? Whats the significance of this pearl?

frome the anime ive only seen the first 5 eps but ive red the manga to volume 12..& from what ive read:
Inuyasha is ahalf youkai & half human but his bro is a full youkai they have the same father but diffrent mothers ..Inuyashas mother is human & his bro Sesshoumaru has a youkai mother..
i think thats way they have different ears..
when Sesshomaru discoverd that his father's grave was inside the black pearl in Inuyasha's eyes he pulled it out but Inuyasha didnt become blind..
Sesshomaru was looking for their father's sword Tetsusaiga, its apowerfull sord that can cut any thing & it was stuck in the ground of the grave...inuyasha & Sesshomaru tride to pull it out but they couldnt but when Kagome tries she gets it out & gave it to Inuyasha..the tow brother fights and Inuyasha cuts Sesshoumaru's left arm off ..after that they discover that Inuyasha can only use Tetsusaiga for protecting humans..
thats what i remember from that part...:D

Yes thuder dragon, you are correct that is why they are different. Sesshou-kun is I-chans half-brother. And since the Tetsusaiga is ment to PROECT humans and Sesshou-kun doesn't give a d4mn if he killed a human or not, It sheilds him from useing it.And as for
I-chan since he's in love with K-chan and with do anything to save her life, he was able to weild the magical sword....

How many episodes are there in this series? When does Kouga appear (which episode)?

I believe Kaide was hurt (the eye) when Inu Yasha stormed the villiage in order to to steal the shikon no tama (I am not confident in this). The flea is extrmely old, I think that if he died it would just ruin his agelessness (no, this is no explanation). Just to clarify, the "black pearl" was his father's magically sealed grave. It was supposedly put into Inu Yasha's eye for safekeeping, and is actually returned to his eye at the end of the episode (or the one after, whenever they return back from the gravesite's world). As for Kouga, I am not exacly sure. I know that it was ep 35 or before because the intro with him starts showing up ep 35, I could probably figure it out but I am too lazy.

Oh, and currently I know 82 episodes exist and one movie. A second movie is being released in december, and the series is still in production. I don't know how many there are supposed to be, and I have currently only seen through episode 60 (though I am tackling about 4 episodes a day on top of watching a few episodes a day of Ayashi no Ceres and Ai Yori Aoshi) If you want to know more I will be done in the next few weeks and can likely give you better feedback on the series. Ciao ;)
