I'm sorta with BB on this one. SNES has a lot of great games, but I'm really going to like GameCube with all the releases of the remakes of the Resident Evil series (is a big fan of RE). RE0 in October, 2 in November and 3 in January, joy! ^_^

I grew up on it, and I loved it...and I still do. I know newer games are better, but sometimes, nostalgia just makes up for all of it. So, I'll go with the NES.

Besides, they had the Contra, the Ninja Gaiden (haha, Ninja Telegram), and the Mario's. Not to mention the Duck Hunt, Excitebike, ZELDA...lol...man, I'm tearing up...*sniffle* :D

I am going to have to say the NES, that was a damn good piece of technology. Games like Metroid, Zelda, Castlvania, and teh Mario Series were great, and well the snes couldnt do for me what the genesis could. As for the newer, GCN, I dont find myself playing it as religiously as i played the NES, i dont know if it is me growing up, or just how truely great the NES was...

Sure, SNES did have a ton of RPGs....but I never managed to get any of them myself...I have about 3 SNES carts, while my NES (which I coincidentally unpacked last weekend at home and played) has about 40...

The NES was my first console, and I the nostalgia is a very big thing, indeed. But this console was the grandaddy that started them all...Atari never really picked up, the Genesis was better hardware, but didn't sell as much (even worse was the Turbo Graphix 16)...so it was mainly the Nintendo base of fans that paved the way for all those big systems kids play today. It was also NES' success that made the SNES possible. No NES, no SNES, simple as that.

Therefore, I conclude that the console that is truly the king of kings is that good old guy of the mid 80's, the Nintendo Entertainment System (Famicom).

Sure, the nes had the classics, like the Dragon Warriors and Zeldas, but, cmon...SUPER Metroid! Zelda 3! erm....Super Mario All Stars! BattleClash! And other great things! (like Mario Paint!)

That says most of it...so ill leave it at that.

Do you honestly think that Battle Clash could beat the 'Hunt!? LOL, it is to laugh. What does a bunch of mecha and a light "bazooka" got on an evil dog and an orange beretta!? :D Just playing, but seriously, when we're old and gray...you're gonna see the NES at a pawn shop and you're gonna cry tears of rememberance. I thnk that's why it's the best system for me, just the fact that we grew up on it.

And yeah, SNES has cooler games, most times. The FF series really stands out with that.

I refuse to choose. Nope, not doing it. I said I'm not picking one. YOU'RE NOT MY GODDAMN MOTHER! They all rule. NES had duck hunt, snes had FFs, n64 had... uh, well... Well, I liked it so screw you, the gc has all kinds of gr00vy stuff. So like I said, I ain'tn't choosing.

N64 had GoldenEye, Lep....countless hours wasted in mult-play there...:) A four-way split screen and no need for controller expansions - it was built on. N64 was more of a party machine than individual in my opinion though...and such a lousy game selection.

And yes, C-64 does kick Atari's butt, exiztone...:p

    ATARI JAGUAR!!!!!

Meh, I never really liked goldeneye much. I kept comparing it with PC shooters, and it always fell short. I always pwnd at multiplayer though. I think Zelda was my favourite N64 game. And starwing, f-zero X, and a **** load of other kick *** games.
