Ranma 1/2 Best Season

    if you had to pick one season out of the, I think, seven seasons that the Ranma anime has which one would you think is the best?

    I have bought the first season, downloading the second season right now (I have episodes 1-5, 8, 10, 12, 17 so far), and seen season three thanks to my library.

    So out of those three I think I would have to pick the first one. The first was great esp. how the Soatomes introduced themselves to the Tendo family. Also how Ryoga came into the scene, esp when he realizes that Ranma is the one that gave him the curse. And than almost got cooked up for dinner. hahahaha lol :D First season defintely had more laughs.

    It's not a "season" but I love the OVAs. It's what SERIOUSLY got me started upon anime almost 5 years ago...and still remains as one of my favorites yet. I don't know...I loved the way that there was story to 'em...and it was enjoyable to watch. Not a lot of fighting, but still, it was really just fun and I liked watching things like that. However, had I to pick a season, seeing as I've not really watched the full of ANY, I'd pick the first one. Akane and Ranma actually sort of got along. But, the art sucked (too manga, for an anime) - I mean, it's good...but nothing would probably have beaten season 7 in terms of Ranma animated art. :D

    The first 3 seasons definately have the edge over the later 4, being as those were the seasons that really brought in the more major characters and had the longer running storylines. Ranma is fresh, funny, new, and addicting for about that length.

    For some, the later stuff doesn't have the same draw to it. A lot of the old jokes really grate by then, storylines are semi-familial and droll at points.

    The secound one! It's hilarious. Especially, "Kuno's House of Gadgets! Guests check in but the don't check out."

    Had me rolling on the floor laughing. most of the eps in the secound one are the funniest. ^^

    First season, easily! After the first one they tried to pick up the speed of things but it just made things a little too repetitive.

    1st season for sure. Kuno was a riot. Everything was new and hilarious. If you shove the ice skating eps into the first season where they were originally it gets better. Kuno rules all though.

    Ukyo spiced up season 3 a bit, but the crest had long since been reached.

    i like the 1st season a lotbut i also like season 5 & 6 since it mostly has my favorite episodes like - nabiki gets engaged to ranma and akane goes to the hospital. but my most fave's gotta be the first.

    er.. okay fine :p

    season 4 - 5
    you can see how R+A relationship developed

    oh don't forget OAVS (I like Akane to remember) the best ;)
    and Movie 2 :D
