Anime Biggest Sword (or weapon too)

    Which man-held weapon is the huggest in your opinion, or perhaps anime/game expertise.

    Character Name, Description, relevant info, like made by God or something, series/game.

    note, a mech isn't man-held.

    Let's see ...
    D's sword from Vampire Hunter D was pretty long, if you want to talk about lenghth.
    Cloud (from FFVII, not the Emperor) had a pretty huge sword too.
    What it all comes down to, however, is that Sanosuke has the biggest sword ever. There's just no questioning that one, although some science-fiction anime may have a bigger gun[/1], but I'd just as soon not get into that issue right now.

    Well, I'll have to argue with you on that one. Balgus, Van's guardian and teacher from Escaflowne is the one with the huggest honkin big a$$ sword I have ever seen.

    Watch the first Episode of Escaflowne uncut,subbed... what Us tv did to it is unforgivable...

    I'll try to find a pic ^_^ this guy was fighting Mechs with this thing...

    but anyone else seen any huge weapons?
    but perhaps someone has watched more shows and can tell me if there is a bigger weapon?

    As for Metal...Balgus is probably the biggest(even bigger than the zanza). But if you want to go with Energy swords, then recall Sword Tenchi when Achika cut Kain in half with it. [​IMG]

    The biggest I've seen is Cloud's sword but there probably are bigger things.

    Or how 'bout in J to X, when Baiko fights off that big mechanical that attacks Castle Japones? She pulls out her energy sword, grabs a jug off her belt and spits onto the blade. Then it becomes longer than anything I could see possible to really swing...

    Gatsu from Berserk's Dragon Slayer sword, is a bit on the large side, and that big demons sword (can't remember his name) is non too shabby either 8)

    Cloud has the biggest sword I ever seen... and if you count for the longest sword, Sephiroth of FF7 is a runner up ^^;...

    Let's all try to find images to compare. I've been looking for Barkus' sword off the net. And Baiko's and Acheka's sword are evenly matched me thinks... if one has seen Rurouni Kenshin, and one has seen Esca/SMJ/Tenchi and they say the Esca/SMJ/Tenchi swords are bigger, what does that say?
