I'm totally sure about the this, but i think the series is going to be realised in Japan around October this year. And i think that Mamuri Oshii (sp?)is going to be lending a hand in the production.
This is something that i'm going to be really looking forward to :D .

Nice! Blood was one of my "return to anime" movies during my younger days. Good job on making this into a TV series.

    Looking forward to it :)

However unfortunately they are going to b releasing it without as much blood and gore... what good is a series called BLOOD with no blood in it... they intend to give it to the slots that things like gundam slots on tv fill...
these are daytime slots it is not intented for adults and am sure it is being aimed at younger generation...
This seriously gets on my nerves... making a great movie like this into a series aimed at kids...
Im getting annoyed now... they seriously need to look at what thyre doing and where all the original fans of these characters and story came from...

wel its official, that there using a early afternoon timeslot in the japan and united states airings, The producers of at least two shows in that slot have blatantly gone on record as saying they were aimed at elementary school children. And yes, I actually dont midn shows the likes of Gundam SEED & Fullmetal Alchemist, but they're still shounen action shows aimed at young audiences. Fullmetal Alchemist was abnormally intelligent in its writing, and any audience can conceivably enjoy it, but it was still aimed at children.
