Chinese boards.com.cn Launches!

    It's a bit bare bones at the minute but boards.com.cn was launched today for those in the English-speaking Chinese community.

    By the way, registering with my hotmail account which is the same I used for boards.jp is apparently "banned" over at boards.com.cn. Reason?

    Oh there was some spamming going on from hotmail accounts :/

    boards.ca is gone unfortunately, and there is also some restrictions on non-nationals buying them AFAIR...

    I wonder though, why is the loading time so slow? Usually my copmuter loads BJP quick, but .com.cn takes a while.

    Also, how can there be so many users already!? oO

    Some 390 of them users are from Boards.us, they were already there when it all started. I think Cloud used the same interface, changed the logo and just deleted the posts from there and renamed the forums. Hence, the proper new members start from the 395th member.

    I could have sworn I posted here earlier. Must have just read it and forgot.

    Anyway, it is nice. Since I'd joined B.US at some point in the past as a lurker, I figured I'd start posting there as well. Mostly it was boredom. :p

    But yeah, I'm actually "Bill." Took it on BUS so I could lurk without hitting login screens and used the weird name so no one would suspect it was me. :p

    It started off so well too. I wouldn't sweat it any. It's the holidays season now. It might pick back up after the seasons end and everyone gets back to thier normal lives.

    I'm not. I joined while I was banned so I could get my boards fix. :D

    Seriously though, I started poking around there during my ban because I was bored and posted it up a little bit. Kinda forgot about it after I got back. :p
