Anime bobo bo bo bobo(i think)

new anime on CN
wondering if anyone else watches
anyone think it is any good?

about a guy with an afro bobo protecting hair from people who are shaving everyone's hair
makes little sense but it strange and funny

anyone else seen/heard of it?

 

I have seen it and have watched. At first glance you think its going to be a disgrace to anime but well its not really. Its different i will say that and i kinda like it

 

Meh...Bobobo Bobo Bobobo is a little confusing. I tuned in about halfway, and some of the things seemed a little weird, like the "wiggin" guys. And others seemed a little funny, like that Megazord-like assembly to play a videogame.
Its not a bad show...but its not a great one either. Its ok.

I watched the first episode and read the sneak peak manga in Shonen Jump, and to be honest, I thought it was hilarious. The first episode had me confused the whole time. Who cares if it doesn't make one bit of sense, it's still funny. In my opinion, that's all that matters. The thing that really freaked my out was:

**Warning** CONTAINS SPOILERS ---> that BoBoBo was a robot contoleed by a little midget.


Oh well, it's interesting, funny, and has a great cast of characters. I like it.

 

I haven't watched yet but I read the first chapter in the manga it was a good laugh so I will get it.

Does Bobo do that whole dragonball cut out thing in the anime. Gave me a good idea for a sig.

No, it's actually BoBoBo BoBo BoBo.

I'm not saying it's bad, but it doesn't really appeal to me somehow. Must be the type of humor because I like destructive humor not stupid humor(forgive the name, that's just what I call it based on the what kinds of jokes and things it's trying to make the audience think is funny).

 

I've heard *of* it. Sadly that's all.

I did grab a plot summary for you guys from ANN, though.

Plot Summary: Bo Bobo is a man with the incredible power of hearing the voices of hair and using his own to fight. He uses his power to fight off the Margarita Empire and all of EmperorTsuru Tsuruiina's minions who are stealing the hair off of anyone they find to power up their emperor.

Sounds a lot like Excel Saga, which means I may have to look into it.

Yeah he does do that while he's on a train. Made me laugh so hard I almost choked. Really, the anime is WAY funnier than the manga, it's a must see. The thing is none of it makes sense, but it's so incredibley funny, it doesn't have to. There's no plot, it seems like it's off the top of the creator's head.

 

That's better than an extremely confusing plot like the Bob and George webcomic because there's time traveling, alternate realities, flashbacks, sudden breaks to other times, realities, and flashbacks, and interuption of the person making the comic ("Author" as they call him) and Bob and George the people also appear even though the webcomic has nothing to deal with them. I can see a storyline in BoBoBo BoBo BoBo but it's mostly clouded by other parts of the show so it's hard to notice.

 

Haven't seen the anime, but I read the Shounen Jump previews....

This show is INSANE. XD It has that "Oh god no *embarrassment*" and "I can't stop reading/watching!' feel. XD

Can't say I'm fond oif it, but I don't hate it. I think it's funny, but it's not my kind of anime. it's not one i go bananas over.

I DID like it however in the manga when he was behind a DBZ board...and in the one shot wher eit's like "red Card! "Red Card!" "red Card!" "Yuugiou card!" XDXDXDXD lol Reminds of Nurse Witch Komugi-chan when she cosplayed as 6 characters form gatchaman...XD
