Inu-Yasha born or adopted

is Inuyasha really adopted or was he born sesshoumaru's brother

 

InuYasha is indeed Sesshomaru REAL brother but only half they had different mothers thats why Fluffy is full 'Youkai and inuyasha's only a hanyou.

I wonder how come it's half though. Isn't having the same dad but different mom a step-sibling? I have brothers from the same mom but different dad and I say they're my brothers when in fact they're my half brothers cause we have different dad's.

 

Er... Well it's half BECAUSE... ok... ya see, to get durty you have to have (at least) two people, right? Unless youre lonely. Well, InuYasha's dad makes one person, InuYasha's MOM makes another, making two. If we considered both of them together to be a whole, then his DAD is only HALF of that whole, in their case, his blood runs through both of their bodies, but the blood of others runs through them as well, in inuyasha's case: his mom. In Fluffy's case, yeah well you get the picture i hope. SO they are connected by HALF (I repeat, half) of the genepool. Making them half-brothers. :anime: That's all for Sex Ed. boys and girls.

A half-sibling is when you have one parent the same and the other parent different (in this case, the father's the same for both). A step-sibling is when your stepfather or stepmother has children from a previous pairing. They're not blood-related to you at all.
