BURNS!!! IT BURNS!! THE GOGGLES DO NOTHING!

    Ever burn yourself while making KD?

    I guess in my moment of weakness due to hunger, I dropped the pan and lid as I was pouring the hot water out in the sink.. right when the lid and pot opened, GUSHHH...

    I've had a nasty steam burn before when I made this neat pasta salad thing.. my skin bubbled up after a while.. honestly steam burns are the worst.. I've had water burns, oil burns.. wax burns.. hmm.. not fire burns.. well.. I guess any burns suck.

    I can second that, I work in a steam plant after all. They're nasty and the mark they leave takes forever to go away, even after it's all healed up.

    I think it goes away quicker than a horrible bruise. But it sounds like you get them worse there wert, my burn looks like a South Park Canadian's head.. maybe it's fitting since I'm Canadian.. I wonder why there's a thin line going through it..
