*Whew* After responding to a few posts here and there I got into a nice little argument with Basher about law enforcement. Bless her heart, but she is set against the police, almost like she they're out to get her. I understand where she's coming from, but it's unsettling as all hell to hear someone denounce the way officers of the law handle business. It's almost like she'd prefer to see them stripped of all thier rights that come with thier job, making them simply figureheads.

Ah well, I suppose she and I will argue about this until our faces are blue. That's ok. I enjoy getting wound up every once and a while. That's the whole point of the debate forum, ya?

I also (finally) started my Moments in Time thread. Maybe once a week or so I'll try and post a new one (or a couple depending on how I feel). I started off with three- Respite, Hope and Love. Respite is a single parter (real short), Hope is 4 parts while Love is 2. Frankly I like how Love turned out. I think the timing worked out good. It's one of my favorites. Justice (when I get around to finalizing it) will be a real bender and I'm sure will set some readers on fire. It's really... how can I put it, intense? It's all within the bounds of Bloodberry's rules but even I can't read it without shaking my head. Personally it goes against what I preach, but at the same time it reveals a different light upon an overused word and cliche. I suppose it's purpose is to shock and awe. I have a feeling that it will do so. I might get some negative karma from some who might be "offended" by it, but I think that it's worth opening a few minds for it. It's not gory, racist or erotic so don't worry about any of that.

Currently none of my Moments in Time tales have anything to do with one another.

Had a good night drinking last night with my cousin who happens to be a cop near where I live. He shared a few stories about the cases he's been on and we had a good time. He's almost forty, which blew my mind. I didn't realize I had cousin's that old. He could be my dad!

Anyway, I'll leave this at that. I encourage you all to read through Moments in Time and enjoy. They're posted for your satisfaction.

[runs off to get another beer]
