Anime Calling all Big O fans

I was really bummed to see that there isn't a Big O section in the Animes A-Z. It's one of my favorite Animes and until I get 100 posts or something I can't request for one to be made. I was curious though, is there any specific reason that there isn't one to begin with. I understand that Big O was far more successful in the U.S. than in Japan but is there another reason or was it just forgotten?

While I'm on the subject, how many people are there out there who actually like the show and why. If you don't like it, I'd be interested in hearing your reasons for disliking it as well.

 

Um I really didnt like it because Dorothy got my nerves..(with Roger!!) It was okay not really bad. I liked Roger's personality a lot, but WHAT was it about? I watched some of it the first episode when that guy said Dorothy was his daughter and was giving that guy money to give her back..it all confused me.
Im simple minded forgive me Zealot.

 

Probably because it wasn't popular enough on BJP (or M2A ) to warrant it's own forum.

I bet a search wouldn't reveal much.

I read the first manga book. It was sorta interesting, but not enough to make me want to buy it, or even finish it. Something to read when there's nothing else to do, it is.

 

The reason is the question of activity of the forum. How many threads will be running? How many topics would there be?

I actually saw some Big O episode when I was in NYC for 2 years ago. It was pretty good though, love the art.

I have to admit, Big O was a really good anime. Having had watched the anime, I really wasnt completly satisfied with the ending.
The story, action and drawing style is preety good, which was one of the main things that kept me entretained (if not all).

However, i dont think may disscussions can be made about it. The most popular ones like "Fav Character", "Fav Episode" or "Fav" anything is that which could keep the forum alive.
You really cant talk about characters becauese there isnt a very expanded cast.

Big O was good, but not that good. Only certain people could enjoy it.

I personally liked the whole idea of what was basically Batman in a Giant robot. I really liked the character Rojer Smith and I'm a sucker for giant robot shows which is probably why I loved the Gundam series so much.

I also chose to post this after remembering some rumors I read off of a site somewhere that was talking about there being some kind of sequal series for Big O. I don't know if you'd call it a third season or what but it sparked my interest and I'm really bummed I can't remember where I read it. :anger:
