Two words describe this game: Pure Brilliance.

Story:Nathan (you) and fellow hunter in training Hugh Bladwin and Master Hunter go to castle. Dracula takes master to be "ritualed". Hugh and you must save him.
Very Cheesy.

Graphics: Overall, very good. Lighter palletes would have been nice, the game can be hard to see at time. But, the enemies move smoothly, as does Nathan.

Sound: Well done, Konami. The whips, crossarang, spells and abilities were very well audiologically represented.

Control: Controls as smooth as silk, very good button mapping.

Very Useable.

Overall, this is why I bought a GBA. It's a very good game, and i highly reccomend it.

Directional Buttons move you.
A jumps.
B Whips.
L Activates DSS Combo.
R Ativates Special Moves.
Start brings up the Menu.
Select bring up the Map.

DSS CARD COMBOS

This game introduces the DSS (Dual Setup System) Card Combo System. Basically, you have an action card (Named after a god, like Mars) and an effect (Named after a famous monster, like Mandragora the plant demon). You equip an Action, lets say Mars, who has the power of swords, and an effect, Mandragoras, the plant demon. The result, when the L Button is hit, is a Rose Sword. There are many other combos (99 more!) which can enhance stats, transmute weapons, and basically knowck the shtuffing out of just about anyhting, if used right.

 

I LOVED THIS GAME!!!!!!!! I just had the chance to play one time, i didn't pass fase 2 ... I played with the girl, again what was her name?! !

That's the GBA one, right?
If so, then it's a really really good game. I'm on the last boss as a magician, but it's really hard because I don't have enough hp. In short, it kicks ***.

 

My bro played it and I must say it is good. The graphics are awesome!
