Catch up, and meaning of

Oh wow. Long time, no post. If you're looking to catch up, you can try my LiveJournal, but it's gonna be a long read from the last post here. Umm... not sure what to mention here, really.

I guess I'll explain "Ba Phyi Zhum" (see this) for those who have no idea what it is. You see, my username is Baphijmm. If you had read the post earlier about me being a dragon, and gone to the links provided, you would know why. Well, earlier this year I decided to find out what it meant, so I broke it down into the individual Tibetan syllables and translated it. "Ba" is an article making the rest of the word/phrase a male name; "phyi zhum" roughly means "be outwardly (visibly) intimidated", or perhaps "be intimidated by the external (appearance)". Which, I guess was a really fitting name. But yeah, that's what that means and why it's so important to me.

By the way, that lung (dragon) in the picture is me.


EDIT: Oh yeah, there is something kinda big that I'm happy about: I'm in Socorro's musical production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! So if anyone's going to be in the Socorro, NM, area around the first weekend in April, come on over to the Macey Center and check it out! I'm playing the part of Dan, one of the not-well-versed brothers, but definitely my favorite besides Reuben ("Those Canaan Days" guy) and, of course, Joseph.
