    Do you like Cardcaptor Sakura, and if you have seen the second movie, What do you think abut the voice change?

    This belongs in the anime section.

    Also, I don't ever mind voice changes, unless they somehow mess up the story. But, I don't remember them changing the voices of anyone in the Japanese cast...did they?

    i loved card capters but im in australia and de movie hasnt come out yet.

    I wathced the series a few year's ago and i really liked it. I thought that the animation was really good. Thought i got kind of confused when i found out that Madisons real name was Tomyo in the manga's. And there was also a few names were changed in the tranformation from manga to anime, i think.

    Anyway i only seen the first movie but not the second. In fact i didn't know there was a second. But they should keep the orignal voices in ether the japanese or english versons cuase the new voices would just sound really weird and out of place. The character wouldn't be the same.

    The reason they changed the voices is because the people that dubbed the anime never did the second movie because of the content. the people who showes ccs never wanted to sho the second movie because they had covered up most of the plot with the shoujo any ways. so the second movie was dubbed seperatly with another cast. besides this the names in the manga did not change when it went into the anime and the japanese names are much better....the english version was a slaughtered version of the japanese version.

    http://ccsvscc.com/ is a comparison site of Card Captor Sakura vs Cardaptors with screenshots Take a look at http://www.cardcaptors-uncensored.com/ -though Tenshi stopped work on it. Eriol's voice was different in the movie when speaking to Sakura if that's what was meant :sweat:

    Edit: Just found that Cardcaptors still airs in my country.- from my station's site: 'Weekdays at 10:30am and 6:30pm, daily at 4:30 in the morning et/pt' Mmh, maybe I can start my comparison notes again ^^
