Censors: A Rant

So, you see things being censored on TV all the time. But what the hell's the point? When a person says a cussword and you use a beeping noise to block it out, you make it blatantly obvious that they cussed thus rendoring censoring it useless because the point of censoring something is so that people will not know what it said or is being blocked. And on top of that, most censors are done so bad that you can hear parts of the words and you can easily tell which word they used. There's another form of sound censorship where they instead cut out all sound for a period of time, but it's still blatantly obvious that they're cussing and they still don't time it right so you can still hear parts of the words. They should censor it to where you can't hear the person cussing but you can hear the other noises. And they should censor it for the exact right amount of time to get that entire word without getting any other words. We have the technology to do this, but the comanies have to stop being cheap asses. (I'm looking at you, MTV)

Now let's talk about censoring physical things. There are two types of censors. Black bars, where they cover the area needed to be censored with a black area, and pixelization(I think that's what it's called), where they make squares of the area to be censored and blend all the colors together into a single color for each square. Sadly, the more effective form of censorship (the black bar) is rarely ever used anymore. The pixelization method is worthless because they don't make the squares big enough to have any good effect on it. Also, why do we need to censor breasts? Breats are basically just fat that piles up in one area so it's just like a normal inflation of the skin. If a very young child runs around without her shirt on, companies don't censor that. When males with breasts of any age don't have a shirt on, they don't censor that either. The people who regulate this stuff are worthless.
