it started smoking after it's spose died.

i nearly choked on me pepsi.

 

forgot about that one I also heard that it watched the works or visitors smoke and she started to and copied them by picking up the cig whenthey threw it to her or on the ground

Thats.... strange. Why in the heck would they keep giving her cigarettes?!!? I mean thats not natural. Personally i thiink its hallarious but how the heck did it keep hapening lol.

 

think about it...people love to see animals doing odd and out of the norm things like acting like people in some way or another. it may have started out with someone throwing cigarettes into the pen but once the zookeepers started realizing how many people it was attracting and how much more money they were making, they encouraged it. ive seen it happen in another zoo before. and besides, who wants to deal with a pissy menopausal monkey going through withdrawl?

they coulda thought of a better excuse/reason for the smoking in that dumb article though XD

Maybe they stopped giving her cigs because she was scaring the kiddies.
