    First first: I've only seen through Act 16, so pleeease don't spoil me. ^^;

    Next next:

    So I'm watching PGSM and I'm looking at Naru and going, hey, she's so much cooler in this than in the anime. Then she sort of disappeared for a bit and I thought, well, she's a minor character so it's not too big of a deal. Then she came back in that one scene with Ami, and I went, um, whoa? And then the act after that happened and I was like whoa.

    To make a rather lengthy explanation short: I'm really impressed with how Naru's character is developed. She seems to have more dimensions than she did in the anime. The same goes for just about everyone else, too. Case and point: Rei/Mars was my least favorite in the anime. But in PGSM, she's been given a little something more -- can't quite place what it is -- and I can't just brush her off anymore. She's a great character; I have a lot of respect for her.

    Usagi, too -- she's still a bit whiny and klutzy, but she's just so kind and sweet and cute and you just get this sense of actual human being from her (and not just because it's live action XP).

    I think this is why I like PGSM so much. The characters are developed so well. Even the bad guys. I'm very impressed because wow.

    ...diiid anyone else think the same?

    I kinda agree. I'm sad that they ended the live action version.

    The character development in PGSM simply cannot be compared to the anime's, or the manga's. Well, then again, the manga barely had any character development, and half the senshi had little to no personalities. x_o;;

    I've said it and I'll say it again, I love this version's Usagi. She's so much better than the other two! Naru is also great, and I love her character song.

    However, I'm surprised Kawabe Chieko received the role of Naru. She was Sailormercury in the musicals; It would have been interesting to see her play Mercury instead.
